We are very happy with the foundation repair on our house done by Shannon and his crew at House Doctors Foundation Repair. We contacted several companies for estimates and decided on House Doctors primarily because we were really impressed with their honesty. They all came up with the same recommendation but I was impressed with House Doctors particularly because he was very honest in letting us know that our problem wasn't urgent and we could wait on it if our budget required. None of the "Your house is falling down" scare tactics sometimes used by foundation repair companies. They did a great job, gave a fair price and they have a lifetime warranty! We have had foundation issues since moving into our home 7 years ago. We have existing piers from a company that went out of business & they have failed, house continues to sink. Called House Doctors last week, fast estimate, very reasonable. $400 a pier, can't beat that. Less than a week later my house is fixed. I'm very pleased, their employees were very polite, no issues having them in & out of my house to check the levels as it was being raised, felt very comfortable. I was told that House Doctors would begin the work they had bid for me on March 29th. They didn't make it and scheduled me for another start date. Didn't show and wouldn't return my calls. I have proof in texts how many times I have been put off and left to wait all day, thinking they would show or call, wasting my day. I have major storm damage from the 2020 ice storm and one of the jobs they bid was to fix my roof rafters. My roof was nearly totaled and I needed the rafters fixed before the roof is replaced. They have been made very aware of this and the possible additional damage that could be occurring due to the roof damage. I was continued to be given excuses, but this only happened when I they actually answered the phone. Not one time have I ever received a call back, all communication was only after repeated calls until they answered. Our last communication, I even asked if they wanted the job at all, because if they didn't, to please tell me so so I could move on. Once again, he scheduled another date, didn't show and didn't answer my texts or calls, 7 months after my original starting date. Excuses, postponements and no return calls is no way to run a business. I don't care how affordable they are, I have lost all trust in what kind of job they might do when they care so little about everything else. UPDATE: I just found out how to get a call back from these guys....write a review. BOOM, called me two minutes after review went up. The excuse this time was that we didn't have a contract and that he needed to look under my house to give me a price. However, I was already given a price and I WAS THE ONE that asked if he could crawl under the house and make sure the price will be as he quoted. At one point after my mentioning the price he had quoted, he said, "I don't think I said I could do all that for that price. I will have to look at my notes." I then sent him a text and asked that after checking his notes, would he send me a text confirming that I am in fact put on the schedule for the end of Sept for the amount I had written down that he had quoted. He did apologize and told me he hoped I found someone that would do a good job. In my view, a big part of "doing a good job" is not wasting a person's valuable time, especially when time is so important concerning possible additional damage to my home.
