Anyways, my point is to let YOU, whoever is reading this, know that I've experienced pretty much any kind of crappy situation this industry can throw at you when it comes to trying to secure decent representation. Janine is nothing like the above scenarios I mentioned. She doesn't promise anything but to work hard for you & believe in you & your career. She's actually unlike any manager I've ever met in this industry. She has morals. She doesn't believe in taking money from her clients unless it's a percentage off of a job that she actually helped you book. She is supportive & encouraging. She submits you constantly & spends countless hours on phone calls to CD's, pitching her clients. She takes any meetings she can & is constantly networking to try & meet more people who may possibly be able to help her clients get work. Not only is she extremely professional as a manager but she also takes a general interest in you & cares for you as a person. She has never treated me as a number or made me to feel 'beneath her' or 'a waste of her time' like so many in the industry do. Each of her clients are treated by her as an individual who matters.
