This studio in particular is in downtown Crabapple, next to Dukes Restaurant. I have been anticipating this opening since it's only about a mile from my house and the Roswell location has been my go-to (I still love you guys). Most of the coaches at this location seemed to have shifted over from Canton/Woodstock and they are all really nice and helpful. We had a VIP Founders week where founding members got to workout a week early, which is great since I had a week lag in between studios. All Studios have about the same setup. This one has slight differences: 1. a common area to blowdry with a large mirror after your showers (I like this but who knows how noisy it will get when in use) 2. rowers are in two rows, 6x6. Not sure how i'm feeling about this yet ;) 3. the floor is much smaller with less space to walk around, when they get the heavier weights i'm not sure where they will put them. I see this being a problem when we have run/row/floor tornado switch workouts 4. no cubbies, only lockers 5. Plenty of parking! They have "opening workouts" for the first 45 days so I will have to visit other studios for "Hell Week" and my benchmarks etc, no biggie. The only issues i'm having is with scheduling my classes and needing a 7:30am or 7:45am class (sorry guys I know you are probably sick of hearing this one). This studio is right around the corner from all the schools so after drop off etc the timings are key for me and other OTF families. Come in and say hi to the friendly staff (Adam, Jess, Daniel, Cassidy) and enjoy a free first workout...you will get addicted. A great HIIT workout that will keep you in shape with accountability. Second time in the studio (visiting while my current studio is under renovation) and the class…read moreitself was great! Unfortunately, I had a not so great interaction at the front desk. I was told I needed a card on file since cards didn't transfer between studios. After asking whether my card will be charged twice, I was met with hostility at the front desk and was talked down to. Unfortunate interaction and hope that in the future they treat people with questions with a little more patience and kindness!

Big gyms make me nervous and feel awkward so having a small fitness studio with so many options and 24/7 access is huge for me. If you have ever wondered about it just go try it, they give you a free session so there's nothing to lose. And they are not pushy, they want you to make the time for yourself and get the most out of your workout.

The…read moreownership changed a while back and I am disappointed in the upkeep of the facility under the current ownership. They are slow to fix things. When something breaks you cannot trust that it will get fixed. And the odor in saunas are strong. Not something i've experienced before under previous ownership or at other locations. It is always clean and organized. The staff is friendly enough but there seems to be a decline in facility maintenance and that is concerning.

The studio is flawless, the saunas are gorgeous and the atmosphere was upbeat, friendly, and inspiring to just hit a workout and get sweaty! I peaked in the bathrooms and realized there is a separate room for a shower too! The owners are awesome, friendly, personable, and intuitive to members health and wellness goals! There is plenty of parking, smiling faces, and you definitely get more workout in less time!!!!

Jackie explained at the beginning how the hot yoga works and that helped my anxiety about how it would go. Worked to the best of my ability and sweated my ass off but in a good way . The cold towels distributed at the end of class was {chef's kiss}. Will definitely return to this studio. The space is clean, calm, and thoughtfully maintained, with excellent heat that supports a strong and focused practice. The teachers are exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly well-versed in the 26&2 sequence, offering clarity, confidence, and care throughout class. I've previously been a member at several large box gyms but often felt uncomfortable with the sales pressure and long term contracts. Nothing like that here - at SFX I felt right at home. Everything from the front desk to the trainers (thanks Evan) made me feel right at home. The gym has all of the equipment you'll need to get a great workout in - whatever your goals are - but the real gold is the people. The staff and trainers made themselves available to answer questions and are extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Gym-goers are a total mix of ages and fitness levels and the monthly fee is reasonable. I look forward to checking out some of the classes and camps in the future. I'm still going to be patronizing all of the great food and drink in Roswell - just adding SFX into my routine!

Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind, he also has an arsenal of health and nutrition tips. The owner, Rick, makes everyone feel welcome and there is a diverse clientele with youth sports training and more senior or seasoned patrons like me (smile). Julian, one of the founders, is amazing with nutrition coaching, sports and functional/mobility training that has helped me with a few hip flexor issues that have come up over the years. There are also classes focused on strength training and cardio. I started small and was encouraged by another gym goer, Stephanie, to come with her to a few. Now, in addition to training, I attend step, boot camp, boxing, glute camp and even trampoline! I am grateful to her and countless others for their encouragement. The location is very convenient for me (eliminating excuses) and they have everything on hand from towels and showers to 360 body scans. I lost my way for a few years even though I knew what to do (certified personal trainer, past figure bodybuilder). The missing link was the accountability and sense of community to help keep me on track. Thanks to the great staff at SFX, I have found my way back and wouldn't trade the process for anything. Since starting Hotworx, I've lost 10 pounds--and while it's not the only thing I do, I 100% believe it helped push me past a plateau. The workouts are always fun, booking sessions is super simple and easy, and they're always playing great music. So for starters, I had a hard time getting anybody on the phone at the times I was calling, which to my knowledge, were hours that they were staffed. There was nowhere in the app to message or cancel the membership. And I finally was able to reach out as a message on instagram, and I was told after several days before responding that I needed to come in person. And seeing is that I had a hard time contacting anyone that times that they were staffed. I called to make sure someone would be there before going over there. And the person that answered the phone was absolutely completely just rude to me. From the minute they picked up, the phone. And I was told no, you can't cancel your membership and was just cut off on anything. I tried to say I was asking questions. And this person was just completely just rude. Nope, too bad you signed up. You gotta pay for the membership, and it's gonna be charged your account every month. So as I went back to instagram to message somebody, hopefully, I would get a different person to speak with about canceling, as I was told, when I signed up after the first few months, you're able to cancel with no fees. Again, let me remind you this is a six months that I paid for this. They make you add 2 different cards on the app in which they charge for the membership. They continued to charge my card and tell me that they would cancel it after I paid the next month in full. Which I had already not been going to this gym for almost 3 months at the time. So it's an expensive price for the membership for starters, seeing as what is actually offered. The bathrooms always had things that were broken, they would run out of the disposable towels to wipe down the equipment, the scales in the back to weigh in were always broken and never worked. And their merchandise is over priced. I had originally signed up with a friend in which it made the membership a better price for the both of us on the same account, however she moved hers to a location closer to her which made my membership go up, and definitely not worth the price. #OVERPRICED #RUDENESS #NOTWORTHIT
