As a first-time client, I expected to feel welcomed, but instead I immediately felt uncomfortable. During the install, I asked a question because I was concerned about how the hairstyle was looking. Instead of simply explaining that the service wasn't finished, she started yelling at me. I wasn't criticizing her work or being disrespectful. I was asking a question about a service I was paying for because I wanted to make sure I left happy with the final result. No client should be yelled at for expressing a concern. After I expressed my concern, the atmosphere changed even more. She became noticeably tense and passive-aggressive. Throughout the rest of the appointment, she was spinning my chair more aggressively, and I felt uncomfortable for the remainder of the service. At that point, I no longer felt like I could speak up about anything else. Unfortunately, the final result only added to my disappointment. The lace did not blend well, the closure sat noticeably behind my natural hairline, and the install did not have the seamless, melted finish I expected. After getting home and looking at it more closely, I realized it was not something I felt comfortable wearing, especially after paying $600. I reached out to her privately after my appointment to respectfully explain my concerns and give her an opportunity to address them before posting a public review. My message was professional, respectful, and focused on both the quality of the install and the way I was treated. I never received a response. I understand that not every client will love every hairstyle. However, professionalism and respectful communication should be the standard. Paying a premium price should come with both quality work and quality customer service. Unfortunately, I received neither. What makes this even more disappointing is that I was referred by other clients. After sharing my experience with them, none of us plans to return. I cannot recommend this stylist based on my experience. If you look at her google reviews so many people have had similar experiences and speak about her bad attitude.
