My wife and I have worked with Richard Chambers from M&D twice. He found an amazing house for us and we recently closed. Richard went above and beyond at every step. When searching for a home, he stuck to our parameters, had a detailed knowledge of each candidate, and focused on those with the best value per sq foot. We spent months casually looking at listings online and texting about them. He saw many houses with us, available at a moment's notice and not even remotely pushy--he was more cautious about finding the perfect house than we were! When it was time to make an offer, he was an incredible advocate for us. Richard was extremely diligent about finding any potential defects with the house. He is a fair but firm negotiator, always interacting with the seller in good faith. Richard was an absolute life saver throughout escrow. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of our P&S agreement--this saved us a lot of time and money in the end. He was also a resource every time we ran into trouble with any other aspect of the sale, any time, day or night. We could not have done this without him. Richard went far beyond what could be expected of a realtor. He is a wonderful person and will be my only realtor as long as I live in Texas.

John McKennie - WOW! Fiduciary, in the true sense of the word. Integrity, patience, knowledge,…read morediligence, counsel, and understanding. Working with John is a game changer. Our home sale process has become frustrating to say the least due to the dubious maneuvers of the buyer's agent. John has kept his cool while standing his ground and having our best interest in mind, and helped keep us from killing the deal when I lose my mind at the BS antics. John gets it and earns EVERY penny of his commision, and more. You cannot go wrong working with John McKennie. ~JB

The work they did do, was sloppy at best, as it was kids doing the work mostly unsupervised. No communication after emails and text messages. BEWARE

I had Lawson Landscaping do my flower beds approximately 8 years ago and I absolutely loved the…read morelook, quality, and value. They also installed a sprinkler system for me at that time. They are usually quick to reply when the system breaks down and I appreciate that. About a year or so ago they came to replace a wire and didn't bury it so it got cut with a weedeater and I had to have them back out to fix it again. Of course I paid for both service calls. I contacted them at the beginning of June to give me a quote for coming out to weed, remulch, and plant some colorful flowers. We agreed on a price and I will say they were back out two days later to start. PeeWee is the best worker ever! He worked really hard doing pretty much everything while his "helper" watched or ran errands. I supplied water almost every hour due to the extreme temperature and lack of shade. Unfortunately, weeds weren't pulled; they were covered over by a paper thin layer of mulch. Within a few days, the weeds had popped back through and I had to do the job I paid them to do. Poison ivy was still growing in the beds. I went around the house with Casey pointing out large weeds and random vines that needed to be pulled, but hardly any of it was done. Most of the flowers lived but no thought was given with design. It's just a hodge-podge of flowers here and there with no symmetry. They did add one length of hose to accommodate the extra flowers that weren't getting water in the front bed. I deeply appreciated that, and I will say that the crêpe myrtle is blooming beautifully! I even sent them a picture of it. I've been asking since before June 12 for a quote on adding a drip line to my shepherds hooks for my hanging baskets but no response whatsoever from Sam or Casey, his son. I love supporting local businesses and I really wanted to write an excellent review but that wouldn't be fair to future customers.
