I also looked at what the potential cost of parts and how long it would take to get them. I did a google search in the Hamilton area and found Ed's Appliances and Parts. I went in and met Nick the owner. What a wonderful, friendly man who was also very helpful. He was able to confirm what I thought was the issues and I ordered a new heating element and check valve. These were ordered on Apr 16 and was informed I should have them by the 19th. I received a call that they were in on the 18th! Everywhere else showed it would take approx two weeks to get the parts and I would have to pay shipping on top of their more expensive pricing. Unfortunately while reinstalling the dishwasher I broke the hose assembly. I think I had someone looking out for me because it really should not have broken that easily. I called Nick, my new best friend, who said he could have it by the next day. I highly recommend Ed's Appliances and Parts, Nick is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
