By far the best GW location I have ever been to. The manager (Tim) is friendly, welcoming, and…read moremakes you feel like a valued guest as well as a friend. The first time I entered this location I was incredibly nervous as the shop was very busy. Tim understood that and still took the time to answer any and all questions I had. I highly recommend this location. The players here are all very welcoming and kind as well.

This is a Games Workshop Brand store, they sell Fantasy and Sci-Fi miniatures for gaming as well as…read morepaints and hobby tools. before I start this review I would like to say that I used to enjoy coming here a few months ago, everyone was friendly and the store was really clean. that changed a few months ago. The shop has a whole range of tools for modeling and painting under the "Citadel" brand. while they are decent tools, they are incredibly expensive for what they are. a pair of clippers will run you 40$ without tax, paints will cost you about 6$ a pot for about 12ml of actual paint, and a small bottle of plastic glue is about 10$. the pricing for tools and glue is very expensive and for this reasons i looked for alternatives. i found cheaper tools and glue for a fraction of the price, so i could buy more miniatures. This did not please GW, the manager of the store asked me to leave for having a bottle plastic glue out that wasn't "Citadel" brand. even though every time I'm in there I buy something to support the store. i found the store to be trying to rope in newer customers and push people away from there store who have experience in models and have their own tools. The store has completely turned me off from buying any Citadel products and has off put me from continuing to support their brand. I do NOT recommend newer customers or parents researching this hobby for their children go into a Game Workshop store, The way they treat their Customers is horrible, they drive out anyone looking to save a bit of money and demand that you be loyal only to them. if you wish to play Warhammer then I highly recommend looking for a Independent retailer. they are MUCH better then Corporate Games Workshop stores.

We were exploring Kerr Street when we came across Lords of War. The store has a ton of essentials…read morefor miniature painting. They have models from Warhammer, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel. There were a ton of accessories like paint brushes, model paint, glue, and related tools. It was a busy day in the store. They have a few well lit cubicles that served as stations for painting and model building. They were offering a free workshop that day for kids as part of the Kerr Street Kid Fest. The employees were patiently helping kids with their first minis. There is an area in the basement of the store for games as well. It's near that they had these two areas separate to keep it accessible to folks new to the miniatures. There are some board games and trading cards (mostly Pokemon) available here for sale but the majority of the store was for mini hobbyists. The pricing is actually the same or a little cheaper than the official Warhammer stores for things like primer and paint which was awesome to see. The store seems to be really committed to building a community. They have their own Discord server for customers to keep in touch. They were really busy with the extra traffic from the festival so we didn't get to talk much to the employees about the store events. Hopefully we can learn a bit more from them on our next visit.
