The Union Hotel in Gairanger, Norway was a wonderful place to stay. The setting was magnificent: mountains and a waterfall (view from our room, if you open the windows, you can hear the roaring stream) in the back and a Fjiord in the front. The whole property is beautifully landscaped. The hotel also has a great history, which the owner was proud to share with us while describing his antique auto display that is located on a lower floor. The smorgasbord breakfasts were great - excellent food, almost fine service. Bonus for the heated tile bathroom floor.

I dumped it in the toilet, and hurried & refill with hotter mix. Now, I'm happy again! read more
