Three nights here at this hotel that was perfectly located for me in Bilbao. It is a very short walk from the metro station. The tram stops right across the street as do several bus lines. For getting around Bilbao, you can't miss it. The hotel also sits at the edge of the Old Town which made it easy to get back to here from a late night of pinxtos and Basque wine.
My room on the sixth floor was comfortable and other than one person who woke me up at 5:00 am with a slamming door, quiet. You might note from my pictures that I did not have a balcony or even a window. There was a small skylight thing that I was able to open and I dragged the table over to it to stick my head out and view the street area. That was actually rather cool and I've decided that it was no great loss. The elevator only goes to the fifth floor, so I got to walk up just one. No big deal.
Beds comfortable. Work desk worked fine with a small television that I never turned on. Wifi worked mostly okay and is unlimited.
Bathroom was standard European style with a shower that has a half-glass door. I never do understand the point of this, but that's how they do it here.
Plenty of closet space and storage. Breakfast was pretty good. Clean, well kept, decent variety of Continental choices including a Spanish omeleta, sliced meats, breads for toasting, yogurts, fruits, juices and such. read more
