The rooms were well-maintained and everything from the bed to the bathroom was pristine. One aspect that really impressed me was the front desk staff. They arranged castle tour tickets for us. Just ask at check in and they will have them for you the next morning. As for transportation, getting to the castle was easy. Either walk, take the bus, or a horse and carriage ride. Just a heads-up, the horse and carriage only accepts cash. Unfortunately, the hotel's ATM was out of order during our stay, but there was one located close to the ticket booth. Also, I recommend making the short drive to Füssen. It's a charming spot with little shops, good food, and great views of the mountains. Pro tip: take a pretzel from breakfast and enjoy it with a view of the castle

The hotel is only about 300 meters from the old town. Our room was comfortable and the hotel was clean and modern. It was a good location for our visit to Füssen and the surrounding area. Breakfast was not included with our stay, which was a little disappointing. They do offer a breakfast buffet, but it is an additional charge. The hotel is also pet friendly, which is always something we appreciate! Dogs are allowed for an additional nightly fee. Also hotel has AC! Overall, a comfortable and conveniently located hotel for exploring Füssen. We would stay here again, especially for the easy walk into the old town.

They serve eggs in many different ways with breakfast potatoes, sausages, pancakes and more. They courtyard area opens up with a griddle that cooks up (to almost a blister) the most amazing bratwursts that any of us have ever tasted. To make the sandwiches over the top and mind blowing they place it inside of a bun that could be described as manna from heaven and add a smear of incredible tasting Germany mustard. The bratwurst can not be compared to what we eat back home so about 5 hours after the first dining experience we went back for another sandwich.
