We received this hotel as part of a package deal with airfare to the Prague Christmas Market in December 2018. The overall price with airfare from JFK was not a lot so I was a little worried about the hotel but it was actually quite nice. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was adequate, location was decent. There is good public transportation all over Prague but we ended up walking most everywhere, so we didn't use it a lot, but the location was central enough to tourist areas, old town and the Christmas Market. We mostly ate out when we were out and about, however there is a pretty good restaurant across the street on the opposite corner that is like an old German Inn that had more than decent food that we used in a pinch a couple times.
Read the above reviews for size of room, bathroom, and shower, they are accurate. I had no complaints on anything except the bed is like a thick piece of foam on a platform. It isn't a mattress and it certainly isn't on a Box Spring. It wasn't horribly uncomfortable (I travel for a living so I sleep in hotels 3-4 nights a week for a living for 34 years now) but the one I slept on did have a saggy spot in the middle of it, making it feel on the worn out side. I was happy with the cleanliness and the WiFi and everything else so if there was an option for a half more star I would of given it. I knocked a quarter star off for location (more off the beaten track but NOT in a bad or boring neighborhood), and a quarter of a star off for the size of the breakfast room (quite small and everyone seems to go down at 9:15-9:30.) But otherwise I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. read more
