Stayed for about a week here in early July. I loved this place. If you want to walk out the front of the hotel and right onto the Old Town Square or Wenceslas Square, this is not the place. It is about a 15 minute easy walk to Old Town Square. The neighborhood is mostly locals which I like. I don't care to stay in touristy areas with lots of tourists. There are several cafes and mini-markets right on the same square block with the hotel. The cafe's seem frequented my mostly locals which is nice. It's a fairly quiet neighborhood. You are only one block from Vltava River and can walk along it which is very nice. The rooms are fairly good size. There is a fridge stocked with drinks but enough room where you can add your own bottles of water or whatever your drink. No microwave but I didn't find a need for one. The free breakfast is great. Lots to choose from: meat & cheese, fruit, cereal, sausage, eggs, yogurt....pretty extensive. No complaints about the breakfast. The hotel staff is extremely nice and will take time to arrange trips, taxis or just shoot the breeze with you. My only complaint: bathtub/shower has only half a shower door so when you shower water goes everywhere on the floor. They really should consider shower curtains. I plan on returning to Prague again and will definitely stay at this hotel. read more
