The fish could not be fresher, although the restaurants don't believe in sauces on their fish. One night we ate at the hotel's restaurant, which is pretentious and I didn't enjoy a single course. Some rooms were more upgraded then others and the prices reflected it - though all prices were beyond reasonable. Trust me even the rooms that werent upgraded were clean & guests enjoyed the discounted price. All rooms were larger than typical European rooms. More comparable to the size of hotel rooms in the US. The rooms are clean and depending on the room, balconies large and are amazing places to sit and enjoy the morning coffee. The staff was amazing. Like every single person at the hotel went above and beyond on anytging and everything we needed. Angelica helped us with so many things from getting my dress steamed to ferry and bus schedules. This truely made the trip an enjoyable experience. Maiori itself is the perfect place on the Amalfi Coast to stay. Its close enough to all the towns to adventure to, has the largest beach and just seemed to have more authentic restaurants, stores and places where Italians actually lived. I cant wait to go back!

We stayed at the residence and had NO access to the pool. NO room service. NO cleaning service. We also had to pay for toilet paper and fresh sheets (crazy concept). This hotel is all around CHEAP and has awful service. Their website says everything amenity wise is included but thats a HUGE LIE or poor translation. Lastly, rooms were uncomfortable and sheets were itchy. Wish I could give it 0 stars. I think it is very nice how the Europeans organize their beach spot with the perfect alignment of beach chairs, umbrellas etc. as a guest most rooms do have to pay 5 or 10 Euro to visit beach for the towel, umbrella and chair. That is one thing I thinks they should do away with. They had a juice bar and a separate Tiki bar. I found the staff to be very friendly and the grounds to be well groomed and very nice. Many interesting details, artwork, flowers , tiles make it a worthwhile walk. We did not eat at the Michelin restaurant because it was not part of our prepaid package. The food was excellent however at the other restaurant. Our room was fine, with a nice balcony, beautiful room and it was beautifully decorated. They went a little high tech with the lighting and ac. You have to have the room completely buttoned up for the air conditioner to work and you may have to call front desk to adjust it. This didn't bother me as it it my husband. I didn't like the super flat pillows. There was a little noise from the shipyard but it wasn't bad. I look forward to visiting here again!

If you have a chance I would definitely book a night at this restaurant. I really enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our room, it was served on our balcony and featured an assortment of breads and yogart (typical in Europe). The location of this hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of town and a short walk from the beach. I don't think I would have wanted to stay anywhere else, I liked it so much that I have booked the same vacation for this coming April!

But to be fair, I can see by previous reviews that the AC never worked that well anyway. Of course, one place the AC does work in this dump of a sweat box is the front desk office, I popped my head in their, and I would say that it is a comfortable 65 degrees... I guess it is good to be the king... avoid this hellhole like the plague.

Downstairs there is a jacuzzi inside with glass doors which is also overlooking the sea and Amalfi coast.. Just sitting in the jacuzzi with this breathtaking view was incredible. There were also lounge chairs if you wanted to lay out and get a tan or you could walk down the steps and be at the beach! At the beach they offer kayak and boat rentals which was fun...This hotel was so convenient to all places in Minori- restaurants, bars, cafe, market, shopping, bus, etc AND it is only a ten minute walk to the next city over Maiori, if you wanted to explore the coast:) I will definitely be booking my stay in advance for next year here because I enjoyed my visit and again, the staff was so kind, friendly and helpful they really made me feel like Palazzo Vingius was my home for the two weeks I was here...
