It is directly on the river and has stunning views. We stayed in room #9 and it was super awesome. Roses printed in the carpet, red leather chaise lounges in from of huge windows and views of the water and town, which made it really romantic! The room had a HUGE bathroom which was upstairs and a giant sunken whirlpool jacuzzi tub. The bathroom made you feel like you were in a Roman bath house equipped with a shower and sink. Lush bathrooms that we lived in. It also had a separate room for the toilet and another sink. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant and the food is very good. We enjoyed the morning breakfast which had plenty of options. We were very lucky in that the monthly day market and night festival was going on. It was so much fun. Lots of vendors with local stuff to buy. They had a live concert and DJ beginning at 9pm and it went on until 1 in the morning. The hotel provided us with ear plugs as the concert is directly across the river form the hotel. The pub inside of the restaurant was very fun and they had a tv so we were able to watch the Olympics. There are trails just steps away that has beautiful scenery. The hotel has laundry service, restaurant, pub and a beach area with a bar. ons verblijf in dit hotel in zwolle was voor één nacht. hoewel het vlak bij een drukke weg lag,…read morehoorden we binnen helemaal niks. de kamer was volledig stil waardoor we echt goed konden slapen. het bed lag comfortabel en alles was netjes schoon. personeel bij de receptie hielp vlot en gaf tips voor een avondwandeling. ontbijt de volgende ochtend had ruime keuze en werd snel aangevuld. soms heb je in hotels last van verkeer, maar hier merkte je er niets van. die rust maakte het verblijf een stuk fijner dan verwacht.

All the staff we interacted with were excellent. The whole place was extremely clean and we'll maintained. The room was very good. The beds very comfortable, window had screens so you could sleep with a window open. Breakfast was a buffet and all the food was really good and the capacinno was excellent. Dinner was a four course meal . The food and presentation was good, and staff were wonderful. The evening cruise along the canals was great. The owner narrated the tour in Dutch and translated to English as well. He was very knowledgeable and we learned alot about the history. We had a great time and will go back.

They are located very close to the train station and very close to the center, so if you are not feeling their cafe, then you can stroll over to the center and explore some of their different restaurants, cafes and shops. Check out is at 12 Bathroom is small but reasonably nice . Con - They need better lighting in the rooms because the room was too dark. When we first arrived in the room I notice a coffee stain on the floor. In addition, the coffee machine is not nice at all. The coffee machine completely exploded. So if you are wondering why there are stains on the carpet, it's because they have not replaced that crazy coffee machine that does not properly work. The room we had for 160 euros I felt was very mediocre, nothing special at all and extremely small. Also the parking lot view was not so flattering from the bedroom window. So I definitely did not get that cosey feeling that I am home. I expected much better.

The exterior is so 'art-deco'! It's like a 3D painting. Inside, the check in counter was friendly and fast and we were quickly routed to our room, a deluxe double room with one wall that was like an artist's opus. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. There was no refrigerator or bar in the room. That was compensated for by the excellent bar near the restaurant. That's one thing about Dutch hotels - they almost always have a very 'gezellig' bar/cafe so that you don't need to spend your evening locked up in your room. In summary, comfortable stay, excellent wine bar, and approximate to everything Emmen has to offer.

The restaurant have the most delicious food I have had in a very long time! (It is worth a visit, even if you are not staying at the hotel) The double room was quite large, and had a lovely bathtub, perfectly worth the 69 euros !
