Pretty basic spot to spend the night. Located within easy walking distance from most of the main attractions of the town, as well as the train station. Room was clean and the beds are comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is adequate and represents what you get at most of the places in Italy that offer breakfast as part of the room fee. My two biggest complaints were that our room was located near a storage closet/hallway bathroom that the staff and guests used as a place to smoke since it's not allowed in the rooms and the smoke they blew out the window came right back into our room so we had to close the windows every time it happened, which was often. Second, the 'free' WiFi that came with the room was the most blatant data grab I've ever seen and soured me on an otherwise decent place to stay. Unless you entered your email address and a bunch of other personal information the usage was very limited and slow (you couldn't load web pages or use most apps, basically only Instagram and FB, and even then you couldn't click on links within the app or it would redirect you to sign in again with more personal info etc.) it was annoying and infuriating quite frankly. It would intermittently prompt you to re-log in every few minutes and just felt like it wasn't there for you but for them. I started receiving annoying ads the second I logged in for the first time. Might not be a sticking point for some but trying to get directions or read reviews of places to eat etc. was basically impossible because of it, and selling my info like that felt greedy and like a violation of my privacy etc. I won't be staying here again because of it even though it's decent enough. On top of that I also thought it was pretty over priced for what it was. read more
