As a non Filipino tourist, I enjoyed the time spent with friends and family there. There are very…read morefew places I know of where the sheer massiveness of Metro Manila can really be appreciated or where the city's skyline is so defined. I can't speak much on the food as we only had some soft drinks. If you're new to the region, I definitely recommend walking the bridge to the viewing platform.

Today (Saturday) 02/22/20 we tried to call Cloud 9. After numerous attempts to call w/no one…read moreanswering the phone. I went on line to try a reserve 1 night @ the resort w/no response. Since we got nowhere w/trying to call or get information on line we decided to take a trip there and check it out. V Cloud 9 is located within the Manila metro area and only 7.9 miles from my brother in laws house so we decided to take a GRAB (Uber like service only better) to Cloud9 today to possibly check in and maybe get away for awhile. When we arrived at Cloud9 and went to the check in desk we mentioned the inability to get through on the phone line because NO ONE ANSWERED the phone or lack of response we received a rather snotty response from the girl at the front desk. We still decided to check out a room since we were there already. The room was nice, but my brother in law suggested checking out the grounds first. This was an smart idea because many of the amenities can be accessed wo/paying for an overnight stay. We walked through the outdoor dining area to a deck that gave us a panoramic view of metro Manila, unfortunately the air over Manila had a thin layer of air pollution that didn't allow for a clear view of the city & surrounding areas. We realized that we could access the small museum & hanging bridge to gain access to the 360 degree view from the tower above the resort for 7 pesos/person a whopping 55 cents for 4 people. The museum was very small and had a few artifacts of finds on the Philippine island from different cultures over a period of time. Some of the artifacts were a Chinese funerary figure from the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) & some bronze ceremonial daggers from Indonesia-Javanese Sri Vijaya Period (660-1377 AD). There were other artifacts as well, but we were anxious to get to the hanging bridge outside. We kind of breezed through the museum anxious to go up the hanging bridge. The hanging bridge was pretty cool. Its a steel cable bridge that goes from the entry level just outside of the museum & up over the open air to the 360 degree observatory at the top. The climb up the bridge was a cool, but a little nerve racking as it swayed in the breeze. The view from the top had a slightly higher vista then the outdoor deck outside of the restaurant & a better unobstructed 360 degree panoramic view. Other then the items mentioned the only other attraction was a remote swimming pool which we chose not to go to after reading negative reviews. Our group assessment is you can see most of what Cloud 9 has to offer wo/paying for an overnight stay. It was an enjoyable pace to spend a few hours.
