Their tips are much more useful than most guidebooks! Olimpia had personally greeted us and showed us how to access/utilize each key. Because this is more like an apartment/condo setting, it felt very safe knowing that it takes at least three keys to enter our room. With the Colosseum just a few minutes away, it's amazing to wake up each morning and see the Roman wonder as you start your day. Whether you need to take the bus or metro, both are quickly accessible to help you get from Point A to Point B. Very convenient to use the provided manual that shows all the bus lines stopping at Labicana/Colosseo and what times they operate! Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from as well. The room itself is well equipped - a nice big closet to hang your clothes, mini fridge, air control unit to keep you warm or cool, and a nice big queen sized bed. The private bathroom was a requirement and it couldn't have been better. Bathroom space was in a very nice layout and makes it feel like it is bigger than it really is. The only iffy part was the Wi-Fi at times, which can be a little weak/choppy, but hey! You're in Rome! Get off your device and just go explore. Because it is a much more private BnB set-up, they will only clean your room and replace your towels if your stay is longer than 3 days. But that was perfectly fine with me - I personally don't like people coming in and out of my room while I am away. If we had not gotten that information we would have been completely lost. Our room was clean with our own restroom -- which based on our dollar figure was a requirement. Perfect location as it was near the Colossium and train station. Would absolutely recommend. We're personally greeted by the proprietors. Very nice extra.

There is a complimentary breakfast served and you can have dinner there too, you just have to give them some notice. From the Villa Lituania you can easily get to the Rei De Roma subway stop, only a five minute walk. Walk to some more local restaurants without any of the tourists and you will be pleasantly surprised, plenty of shopping nearby too. The Staff was very helpful and multilingual, they made my stay with my family very memorable and comfortable.

Cherry Hostel was a great location, and nice and clean, but was certainly more of a guest house,…read morethan a hostel. Perhaps it was because we stayed there in the Winter time, when Rome is much quieter, we couldnt help but feel like we were traipsing through someones private house. The accommodation is very quiet and has the bare essentials for a quick stay, but should be used simply as a bed, rather than accomodation.

10/26/2013 My…read morehusband and I stayed in a B&B near the Termini for 2 nights in Rome, and our 3rd night was at Hotel Stella. This hotel was also located about 5-7 min walk from Termini station, so super convenient for those that are traveling by train or metro. There was a fridge in the room, and size was decent. An elevator was made available for those to get to their respective floors, we were on floor 3. Internet connection was good in our room, and also available in the lobby. They allow you to store your luggage if you are arriving early in the day (so you would just stow it in the lobby room). The receptionist(s) were friendly and accommodating as well, and the rooms were clean. The street in which the hotel is located on - is not that busy, so rooms were quiet for us. :) The only draw-back is that there aren't many eateries super close by (that were open) when we stayed there, so you have to walk at least 5-10 minutes to get to any restaurant that was authentic and good. Overall, a budget hotel for travelers who don't plan to spend too much time in their room, and convenient enough to metro/train since it's close to the Termini. Felt safe in the neighborhood as well!

Then he offered suggestions for how to visit the city to make the best of our time and recommended places to eat. Due to our own time limitations we missed out on some places like the dinner but we had the very best tiramisu at the place he recommended. Also, his directions for the metro and how to arrive at the Colosseum, how to locate the Fontana Tevi were spot on. I kept thinking throughout the day how amazing our arrival was and how I was eager to write a raving review. I hope to come again to Rome and when I do I will be 100% sure to stay here again. We LoVED our stay! Thank you! Also, very clean place and I felt super safe. Also very centric because it is close to the market, various shops, and the Metro!
