We had a lovely mix of small boutique and large scale wineries. Major pluses but then the negatives! I've been trying to get resolved charges made on my card with no luck. We went to casino restaurant for a late night dinner. Service was a bit lackadaisical and not even much eye contact. I got bounced around the wait staff and cashiers, before someone answered my questions or sat us down. Even though I asked, if credit cards were accepted before dining multiple times. They drumroll ... ended up charging my card for cash. If you decide to dine in their restaurant casino - just plan to use cash - don't try to use your card!!! I've been trying to get it cleared up with no avail. The cost of the cash charges was the same for my meal. Lesson learned. Negative points for customer service at the restaurant and in my attempts to clear up the matter...

On my last night, I asked for a taxi to be called 30 minutes in advance, 45 minutes later the host asked me if I had the Uber app. There was then no doorman to help me with my luggage. I asked for a bottle of water while waiting for my Uber and they tried to charge me, I drank their non fresh fruit water instead. Two members of my party got sick after eating the breakfast. Would not stay here ever again.

This hotel is a 5-star, luxury hotel and although affordable for people paying with US$ or €, it's pricey for local standards. Our room was pretty spacious and even though we had two queen beds, it didn't feel too cramped. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub and they provide basic toiletries including body lotion. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were not as great. They don't provide robes nor slippers which is odd for a hotel of this standard. The rooms have amazing views of the mountains. They have a small gym with a few cardio machines, some free weights and a multipurpose weight machine. Adjacent to the gym there is also a small pool which gets pretty packed especially in the early evening as people make their way back from the wineries. The breakfast is served at their main restaurant and it was fantastic. They have pastries, different kinds of breads and cold cuts, hot items such as eggs, yogurts, etc and even some sparkling wine for those looking to get a head start in their wine tasting. They do also offer espresso drinks free of charge and their coffee is nice and strong. I don't recommend making any airport transportation or remis arrangements through the concierge as the prices they quote are so much higher when compared to those you can get at the airport or even arrange yourself online through private companies. Make sure to pay for your stay with your foreign credit card that way you don't avoid having to pay the tax on the room stay.

The room doesn't have a fridge and this is not a ibis budget, despite the fact that is way worst than some ibis budget I stayed before. The breakfast is terrible. Just some hard bread and not natural juices. We were leaving early in the morning to Santiago and we asked to leave a couple of cold sandwiches on the fridge and they denied. They denied even not having fridge in the room. So, if you stay there just don't take any food. I guess they want you to eat their terrible food. Also the WiFi doesn't work and even the 3g doesn't work because the hotel is far away from everything. To conclude, never stay at this hotel. I'm pretty sure that you will find dozens of options better.

There is a nice park a few blocks away and shops, restaurants are just outside the door. This hotel does have a casino built into the building, accessible through the street entrance or through the lobby. The hotel itself is very nice, as expected when staying at a Sheraton property. Staff are very helpful and speak very well in English, for those travelers who do not speak Spanish. The lobby is very clean and modern, as are the rooms! The hotel is one of the higher buildings in downtown Mendoza, so you do get a nice view of the city if you are on a higher floor. There is a lounge are with wine and beer with some appetizers near the lobby. The breakfast buffet is also very good with many traditional items from around the world. Eggs, fruit, pastries, yoghurt, etc. The quality of the foods are very nice and taste great! As for the rooms itself, they are very nice and clean. Modern, yet classy. The price point for these rooms are incredible, as I got my room well in advanced and stated about 7 days. My average price was a around 100 USD a night. The pool area is a bit warm since it's inside a glass room. The pool area seemed very hot and thus warmed up the pool like a giant warm bathtub. It was better than nothing, but still warm. There is a work out room with weights and cardio equipment. Locker room area with lockers and showers to use while you're in the workout/pool lounge area. There are outdoor terrace chaise lounge chairs to lay out and sun bathe. I stayed on the 9th floor and had amazing views. We did have a rental car and parked in the garage, which was very tight and limited, which was located in the basement. I think the overall experience is great and the location was perfect!
