    Gin and tonic 14 euro

You're paying for the view. Remind yourself of this over and over when you start to think - - hmm... that bartender seemed less than enthused. Yes, you'll find beautiful views of the Cathedral and Seville rooftops - yes, you'll have a not too shabby mojito with free dried legumes. And, yes, you will pay 15 euro for cocktails. Located on 4th floor of EME Hotel, the bar definitely rakes in the tourists. Sometimes you have to be cool with your tourist status and wear it proud in trade for a great view and overpriced cocktail.

super loud. ants everywhere. had free champagne for guests except if you are tattooed like me, then you are treated poorly. parties on the roof all night. leaking rooms. buckets collecting water. was literally told i don't belong.

Rooftop with a nice view of the catedral. You dont need to pay to go there. There are great variety of drinks, but a bit expensive. Gin tonic: €13 and glass of wine: €7.

What a fabulous hotel best view of the cathedral best rooftop bar and restaurant. The service is impeccable. When I got here they got me a welcome drink upgraded my room and gave me a free Turkish spa. And plenty of recommendations on where to go and see the sights and eat around the town. I don't think I would stay anywhere else when I come back to Sevilla and I will definitely be back!!!!! I have a huge balcony that overlooks the cathedral wonderful shower and products comfy bed and very close to everything that's happening.

The roof top bar is stunning. Drinks only. Pricey but worth the view. Our family of 5 had drinks here

This place is fantastic!!!! We where here this past September and we can't wait to be back. They upgraded us to an amazing suite looking at the cathedral besides giving us a free spa entry. Our luggage was lost and the front desk gentlemen found it after being in Barcelona for many days. The GM I think his name was Juan went personally to the airport to pick it up. Noelia the cocktail waitress was incredible, she took care of us every single night at the rooftop. She even had the award winning mixologist make us their pistachio signature drink & he brought it over himself! It was my bf birthday and they did an incredible job with the rooftop brunch to die for yum! Wowww such amazing memories!! We can't wait to be back! Thanks for showing us such and incredible time!

Great place to get a drink at night. Rooftop has the best view of the cathedral. The 3 bars on the roof are amazing. So relaxing in a hot summer Seville night.

My husband and I spent…read moreone night in Sevilla in October and he picked the hotel because he had visited the city previously. Once we arrived in Sevilla, it was pretty easy to find. We dropped off our rental at the airport and hopped on the bus that took you into the city. We got off at the San Sebastian stop and walked with our suitcases a few blocks up to the hotel. I also liked that it was walking distance from many of the sights we wanted to check out. We were able to walk to a Flamenco show, the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. We also took some scooters to Plaza España. The hotel itself was more so a blocks of rooms in a neighborhood square connected with a labyrinth of courtyards and gardens. The rooftop was really neat, too. There are different levels where you can lay out in the sun near people or more privately. There is a pool that looked neat but we didn't have enough time to get in before our show. The hotel itself is clearly very old (by American standards at least) but well preserved and beautiful. The hotel piano bar in the second floor is a must see, too. Don't miss it! The rooms were surprisingly modern. The bathroom was very spacious. The bed was a little firmer than I would have liked but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I was grateful for the valet parking, not so much by the €25 a day charge. The building itself seems to be a collection of buildings spread around a number of internal and external courtyards. Our room was accessible via a long and twisty underground tunnel that stretched for at least 300m passing the spa, various bric a brac bits and pieces, statues, fountains, peculiar display areas that may, or may not, have been shops or small boutiques. I've no idea. It's almost impossible to describe how bizarre and yet how charming it all was. After a while, though, I have to confess it became a bit of a schlepp. Our room was small but the bed was extremely comfortable with a queen size bed and a decent sized, well provisioned, en-suite bathroom. A piano bar on the first floor was both elegant and comfortable and we repaired there each evening after dinner in one of the fabulous restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also opened out onto a small plaza with plenty of outdoor bar and coffee options throughout the day and into the night. A couple of minutes away was the Cathedral and Alcazar as were numerous shops, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours (a must). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Seville but leave the car at home,

It was very convenient to take in the sights of the Espana Plaza. Other sites and restaurants are anywhere from a one to fifteen minutes walk away depending on what your interests are. The breakfast in the hotel is awesome as there are many options to choose from hot/cold options, various breads/pastries and various fruits/vegetables. The only disappointment we experienced at the Melia Sevilla Hotel was in the onsite restaurant, Quimera for dinner. Although the food is very good, their spontaneous appetizer option was offered in a forced payment manner. The first visit for dinner we were served croquettes by a waiter as a complimentary appetizer and we said we ordered croquettes, he stated these are complimentary. However, on the bill there was a $7.50 charge for 3 small croquettes that we did not request as we had placed an order of croquettes as part of our dinner option in which we received six in the dinner order. Ok, you thought we would have learned our lesson and we did. On our second visit for dinner, another friend joined us who accepted a piece of bread, but the three of us from the previous visit stated we didn't want bread as we ordered dinner options that included bread "chicken and waffles"...which are by the way very good. Again when the bill came, we were charged $10.00 as if each person received bread although only one person accepted "a" piece of bread from the waiter. We could understand if they placed a bread basket on the table with enough bread for each person to charge each person for bread "provided." But NO, they have a RIDICULOUS policy that if one person receives one piece of bread from the waiter, they charge the entire party for a piece of bread. We are so grateful that our fourth guest refused the "FORCED APPETIZER" due to the waiter literally plopping the appetizer onto the table without us asking for it and describing it as spicy which our guest does not like. Therefore, the waiter retrieved the appetizer from the table and no additional fee was charged this time as the rest of the party also refused the "FORCED APPETIZERS." Unfortunately, on our last evening in town, we declined to dine in the Quimera restaurant onsite which based on the lateness of the day would have been convenient and we dined elsewhere in the city.
