Beautiful hotel, centrally located in downtown. Close to many restaurants, shops, and attractions…read more The breakfast restaurant downstairs is very nice and the staff puts out fresh baked goods as part of the meal. For those searching for the familiar, the lobby has a Starbucks, across the street is Acropolis. During our stay it was a bit loud since there is construction outside on the main drag--but nothing I couldn't sleep through. The hotel is clean and very modernly decorated compared to the old world feel of the area. While my husband worked, I went for a massage at the hotel spa. The room was nice and ended up being one of the best massages I have ever had. The hotel was kind enough to have a staff member that spoke very fluent English booked for the massage--without my request, the hotel anticipated I would be more comfortable with a dual lingual staff member. It was a very kind gesture. I would definitely recommend a stay here! P.S. If you drove to the city, the car port underneath the hotel is an experience! It's an actual car lift. Very unique experience.

The room was too cold, the massage tables were too narrow and my male massage therapist took off his uniform top which made me feel uncomfortable. He was wearing a white t-shirt underneath but still it made me feel uncomfortable. Kinda creepy place. Will not use their spa services if I return.

The location can't be beat, Central Historic District. The staff were all amazingly courteous and…read moreaccommodating. The rooms we were given were very clean and efficient, a little sparser than they appear on the website but very comfortable. My request for an accessible shower for my elderly mother was granted. The beds were clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff were diligent in their duties. The elevator worked well, which was the key reason I booked this hotel as my mother uses a wheelchair. The breakfast buffet downstairs was great! A wide variety of traditional dishes such as asado de boda, menudo, birria, nopalitos, huevo con chorizo, enchiladas, just to name a few, as well as eggs, omelettes, and quesadillas made to order. All were absolutely delicious. A fully stocked fruit and yogurt bar, as well as pastries and sliced bread. Oh and freshly made tortillas! The orange and grapefruit juices were fresh and tasty. The café de olla was heavenly. The noise was an issue though. I fully expected the street noise as the hotel is in the busiest part of town, but was still able to sleep through it. However there were multiple instances of VERY loud guests talking, shouting, and laughing in the hallways in the early morning and even until 4am one night. I called the front desk to complain about the noise on that particular night after my shushing didn't help. The first time they answered it appeared they sent someone to address the noisy guests as they settled for a few minutes. Unfortunately they started up again. I called the front desk a couple more times between 3-3:30am, letting it ring for several minutes each time, but no one answered this time. The guilty parties finally took it to their rooms at 4am. The next morning when I complained to the front desk, the woman looked mortified that no one answered the phone. Thankfully the following night was quiet again, or maybe we were so sleep-deprived from the previous night we slept through it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if location is key. My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to walk Just a few steps to your hotel room after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Zacatecas is a GORGEOUS city and this hotel is perfectly situated for one to enjoy all the city has to offer.
