Customer service was 5 Stars. All the employees were so welcoming and friendly. Always happy to assist. Unfortunately ice machine and elevators were out of service, however they gladly help us carry luggage to our rooms and bring ice to our room if we ask. This place is amazing . Filled with beauty and history. I just came here for drinks at their bar. The set up is awesome. Definitely a place I recommend. We had a few drinks and the view was priceless. Drinks were not to pricey to US dollars. I had a tequila sunrise and whiskey on the rocks. Rooms were clean and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of a former plaza de toros which was nice decorated. The bar was a perfect romantic and enjoyable place with private nooks to enjoy your drinks. The only set back is that it has many stairs which makes it difficult for older or handicapped people. The restaurant was pricey and the food was ok. read more

Every time we come to Zacatecas we stay here. The hotel is one of the best and it's an awesome experience. The staff is very Professionally and attentive. The bar is a must. I gave it 4 stars because the restaurant is ok nothing to write home about. read more

The food here is delicious! For a drink, I ordered a margarita which was heavy handed, just the way I enjoy them. The main I ordered was their Zacatecas Quinta Real specialty steak; a steak that is stuffed with local cheese, set on top of sliced potatoes and then covered in a tomato and cream sauce. It was very tender! Of the 3 of us at the table, 2 of us ordered this dish and we both enjoyed it. The details for non-fluent travelers, the restaurant is accustomed to hosting business travelers and offers the menu in both Spanish and English. After our meal we went over to the bar and had a great evening with friends. The bar seating is in the arches of the ring while the dinner service is above looking down on the ring. I cannot attest to a stay at Quinta Real since I stay elsewhere in town but the hotel is a well known "landmark." read more

Where can I start! I never knew how awesome this hotel would be! We came here for a wedding and boy did we get much more than that. From the time we got out of our Uber the staff was very attentive and present with us and working our every need. The rooms were magnificent and you are also greeted by a mimosa or some fine wine. You don't even get that in the states We also were invited to a reception here and the party was great in the center Coliseum. If you get a chance just to go out and stand in the middle I definitely would. It's so Serene and refreshing All the rooms in the hotel had private exit doors which were pretty cool to just bask in the Sun and all the rooms had very very very big tubs / showers. You will definitely have some fun here, let your imagination run wild. All of the amenities shampoos, lotion towels Etc werr all on point and changed and refresh every day. Nothing really was wrong except for the massive size of the place which makes you walk sometimes more than you want to when you don't know where anything is. But more exercise is never a bad thing! If I could give negative stars, I would. If you think you have a reservation, think again. Very unreliable reservation service. I called and personally made reservations for 3 nights over 2 months ago. We show up and the hotel says they only have 1 night reserved. They go ahead and check us in for 3 nights and then call us the next morning to say, "sorry, we don't have room for you so you have to leave. Your reservation was for only 1 night." Mind you, it's Easter weekend and there are literally no rooms available anywhere in the city. The hotel "generously" found us a room at the edge of town...gee thanks!! Never, ever again will I stay here. Last time we stayed they didn't have our reservation either but that time it wasn't a problem because the hotel wasn't full. We still had to move rooms the next morning but at least we didn't have to leave the hotel. Travelers beware!!! read more
