If you're looking for a 5 star resort experience, keep looking, otherwise if you need an affordable, comfortable place to stay, this is your spot.
Recently, we stayed here the night before visiting Chichen Itza, and I do recommend it since it's pretty close to the ruins and it's right across the street from the Ik Kil Cenote.
I stayed here years ago and a lot seems to have changed and still staying the same.
The rooms are pretty basic, but the AC worked wonderfully. You will get some bugs in your room, but that's part of the charm of being in the Yucatan.
The water pressure in the shower still was very weak, and the bathroom isn't sealed off to the outside, except for a screen. I guess it's to let the humidity escape.
They do offer a complimentary shuttle to chichen itza.
Also there is an on site restaurant that serves food. There really isn't anything nearby, so either you're eating here, or you're bringing in food from elsewhere. read more
