The restaurant is super pricey! Breakfast was $24 euros. The room was a bit more modern. The issue is the key card has to be inserted for the lights to work. Saves on energy but was a bit of a hassle for us leaving and entering. The bathroom shower allows water to run outside the shower area and the floor gets wet around the toilet area. There's a red light that gives heat and that was amazing. Beds were small and not as comfortable and only one pillow per bed and no sheet only a duvet. This was my major issue because the room gets HOT! There's no central air or heat and with a duvet and no sheet you are either hot or cold. We had to open our window which also was an issue due to noise from outside. The room has plenty seating but not as much space as needed if staying long term or with additional people. The room has a hair dryer and vegan soap products for use. The room does not come with washcloths so make sure request upon arrival. Also the pool and outdoor area was closed for winter! Definitely didn't appreciate that and should have been advertised. Restaurant staff were okay but not the friendliest. We are there and service was definitely like we were bothering them.

It was about an hour long train ride from downtown Munich, so it's not that bad. Plus it's really really close to the airport. So if you're only in town for Oktoberfest and then leaving then I suggest staying outside the city limits of Munich. The pros: -It was really cheap to stay here compared to any hotel or Airbnb in Munich -It is a set price for your stay so no hidden fees -The staff speak English -The accommodations were quite nice and reasonable for our party of two -The have beer in the vending machines -They make pizzas on-site -The Wi-Fi was reasonably fast -The water stayed hot for a long period of time -The beds were reasonably comfy and the room was super clean -It's only about an hour to Munich by train -It's only about a 20-30 € taxi ride from Munich (as of Sept 2015) -check in/out was easy -they have maps and things on getting around Hallbergmoos and which transportation goes where The cons: -This place really is out in the middle of nowhere -It's kind of creepy finding this place at night as you have to walk through fields that aren't well lit or on highways that also aren't lit -There are not a lot of places to eat and the grocery stores are about 10-15 mins from the hotel -The breakfast is an extra 10 € per person and it's definitely not worth the money as it's just dry cereal, fruit, coffee, juice and breads. I think they had hard-boiled eggs, but I forget. -lots of good stuff including beer and adult beverages in the vending machine -You have to catch a bus from the train station like 15 stops to get to the right stop -Not easy to find using Google Maps directions Overall I thought this place was awesome for only 59.00 € + the breakfast. Some people may not like the inconvenience of not being right in the heart of the big city and will pay more for convenience. The trains are hyper fast so I really didn't mind. We got a tourist 3 day train pass from the train station so all the public transportation is basically included for about 20 €. It was perfect during our stay for Oktoberfest and plus since it's one of the last stops on the train most of the drunk people had already gotten off and we were able to rest and relax in the B&B.

Got to the hotel and was greeted by a nice lady. She walked me to my room, the entrance was located outside the hotel, which I think is the basement or lower ground. I got a single bed with shared shower and bathroom along the hallway. I was the only one using the bathroom that time so no big deal and it was clean. Make sure to close your window shade as people can see your room from the parking lot! Restaurants and market are walking distance. Taxi back to the airport is 23 euros. Take Uber if you can.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. I signed up for yelp to leave this review…read moreas I sit in the airport After maybe 2 hours sleep. The room was in the basement directly beside the kitchen, community bathroom, community shower room, etc etc underground with a small window at the top. Walls are paper thin so you can hear people urinating and more all the time, so thin you can hear the tearing of the toilet paper when they are finished To make matters worse their plumbing is not correct and when the water in kitchen or shower is used the sink in the bedroom close to the bed erupts like a volcano making tons of loud bubbling noise which woke me up every 20 minutes all night long. The bathroom itself was putrid and had a chemical clean smell with a very clear underlining filth smell that left you feeling ill with a slight gagging feeling in your throats once you leave - your body knows it's a bad place to be. The kitchen appliances are broken and staff didn't notify me so I bought some food that I ended up not eating. Hate this place, especially room 30. I ask front desk if they were full the previous evening and he said no, I suggested they book room 30 last as it's directly beside kitchen and bathrooms with nothing to block noise - he was rude and dismissive.
