The entire family got to relax after a long day on the train and get some good sleep before it was time to come back home. There were food options within the hotel as well as right outside within the airport, there's even a grocery store 5 minutes away. Everything was clean, and very spacious my biggest let down was they even had a pool but after 1700 so 5pm kids could not swim and being we got here after 5 that gave us 0 chance to unwind which was such a let down especially since we booked this knowing the kids could swim for a little before bed. But the convenience itself is still worth it, we didn't have to deal with the stress of figuring out a shuttle 6am and it was spotless so even though the pool was a let down we'd book again in a heartbeat.

Everything was lukewarm and tasted terrible. We each tried a few bites of different items and simply couldn't continue eating. After two or three bites, we pushed our plates away and left most of the food untouched. Because the buffet was so bad, we paid out of pocket to order a burger, fries, and onion rings from the menu. That turned out to be a waste of money. The burger arrived lukewarm, the patty tasted more like a processed sausage than a burger, and the fries and onion rings tasted like low-quality frozen products. We ate less than half of the burger and maybe a quarter of the fries and onion rings before giving up. We were hungry, but the food was simply not enjoyable enough to finish. The voucher includes only one soft drink. Anything else costs extra. The rooms are extremely bare-bones. Other than a bed, there is very little in the room. The only toiletries provided are wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. No meaningful amenities, no extras, and very little comfort for stranded travelers. Even the airport convenience wasn't much of a benefit. The shuttle bus was packed, and our trip to the airport took almost 30 minutes. We were crammed into the bus with so many people that it felt more like being transported than being cared for as hotel guests. The only thing this hotel provided was a place to sleep for the night. Between the awful food, lack of amenities, crowded shuttle, and overall experience, I would not choose to stay here again. But if you are okay as long as there is a place to sleep and take a shower, you might find this place enjoyable.

This will cost €15 for a 10 minute cab (there is no hotel shuttle ) and you will be stuck in the middle of nowhere, only to discover that there is no room service and there is no restaurant except for the €40 buffet they offer for dinner. You're better off eating at the airport. My very grumpy cab driver was upset that I wanted to pay with a credit card, so I was dumb enough to give him a tip to make up for the inconvenience, making that an €18 waste. The only nice thing about this hotel was the young woman at the check-in counter, who told me that the price of the buffet is really ridiculous and she apologized for it. She suggested I download a local app called Lieferando, which is similar to Uber eats, and get some food delivered. I decided to skip dinner instead Then you get to your room, down a dark corridor, with no ceiling and a bunch of exposed ductwork and pipes and other things because the whole thing is under construction. How ironic that I could see all that ductwork, because the air conditioning doesn't work and the room is a little hotbox. I couldn't figure out why the air conditioning was set to such a ridiculously low temperature, 50°F until I realized that the last person here must've sweat through the experience as well. You think it would be easy enough to just open the window and solve the problem, except that the window has a sticker on it that says do not open, and it doesn't open anyway. I hope the construction project next-door is not supposed to be another one of these hotels, but that's what it looks like. And that's about all I can see, a giant construction project right outside my window, from the first floor, also overlooking the parking lot. To call this entire experience a disappointment would be an understatement . I'm trying to put it out of my mind and pretend it never happened, because it's an awful ending of an otherwise great trip. My layover between planes was from 18:30 on Monday until 14:30 on Tuesday. I thought I should stay close to the airport, but in hindsight, I either should have stayed right at the airport, at the Hilton, or stayed in Munich and taken the train to get there. All the other options would have been more pleasant and less expensive. I will never stay in this hotel, or this chain again. Spare yourself the unpleasant experience. For €191, I expected more.

The lobby is well decorated and they have a restaurant in the lobby. We were checked in promptly on arrival and were given a room on the 2nd floor. The elevators are a bit small but we didn't have any luggage so that didn't really affect us. The rooms were very clean and the cozy. Even though we were right next to the airport but we were able to sleep comfortably through the night without hearing jets taking off and landing which usually is an issue for airport hotels. 4 star decent hotel with excellent pricing if you book through Expedia which I did.

Freising (fry sing) is a small town, untouched by WW II. The town and hotel were used by American forces as a headquarters after WW II. It is charming, easy to walk around and full of decent stores, shops and restaurants. Cobbled stone streets and clean as can be. The hotel is, likewise, clean and sited right in the middle of the main street. Very convenient for your explorations. The staff speaks excellent English and has been very accommodating as to directions and recommendations. Breakfast is served in their own dining room and you can either use the buffet itself, or special order eggs and some other custom breakfast items. You will need to eat lunch and dinner in the town.

They refused and refused to refund the amount on our card. ONE HUNDRED Days from our arrival and our stay was during Oktoberfest - I bet they already have reservations book for this room and so they are getting double pay. Stay away from this hotel chain and the corporate greed. Their cancellation policies are really, really bad.

Erik, his lovely family, and amazing staff run a surprisingly modern hotel in a small village just 30 minutes north of Munich. The restaurant was good and the staff and service were even better. Just be warned that there isn't really any walkable convenience stores nearby but they do have vending machines across the road for drinks beverages and more. However, they require German IDs so you will need to have to ask the friendly staff to get some for you.
