I honestly don't think it is a walkable hotel from the airport for those who like to walk but I could be wrong in the summer? The hotel conveniently provides a shuttle for a fee. We used uber and it was about the same price. Anyway, the room was comfortable for the short stay. Their bar and food menu was great especially since we didn't have access to food nearby and didn't prepare ourselves. The staff was very kind and amazing especially when it was very chaotic as many people were being sent to the hotel when their flight was cancelled. Thank you for the hospitality!

A hip, vibrant, fun place to stay - close to the airport with great service and vibe. A young,…read moreprofessional staff with fun stuff available: small pool table, foosball, ping-pong, and a well-stocked bar providing great German beer (weis, helles, pilsner), assorted bottled beers and liquors - all available 24 hrs as folks come in and out from the airport. The kitchen provides typical bar food and the morning breakfast is decent with cold cuts, various assortment of bread, cereal, muesli, fresh yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage - the best part? The automated coffee makers which grinds the beans and provides everything from expresso, cappacino, latte, and Americano - I would press the expresso + Americano to make my coffee more robust. The property is very responsive and understanding - my flight was delayed for four hours and they allowed me to check out later normal. Plus: * Great service from great and professional staff * Received a "chip" for a free item from the bar - nice touch * Location - close to the airport, with a shuttle (although it costs E10 for a trip available every 30 minutes); travel to/from Munchen or elsewhere may be a bit of a challenge due to the location * Decent gym to maintain your workout * Comfortable beds + sheets + pillows Minus: * Rooms are small (reminded me of Japanese hotel rooms) o No closet or storage (drawers, shelves) o No refrigerator nor microwave in the room * Parking is a bit costly The Moxy property was good - for a short day or two, it would be perfect...not sure about a longer stay as it is a bit inconvenient if planning events or traveling to Munich.

Do not stay here. It is a complete waste of money, and a really depressing experience. You're…read moreprobably comparing it to the Hilton at the airport, which looks more expensive but is actually a much better deal. This will cost €15 for a 10 minute cab (there is no hotel shuttle ) and you will be stuck in the middle of nowhere, only to discover that there is no room service and there is no restaurant except for the €40 buffet they offer for dinner. You're better off eating at the airport. My very grumpy cab driver was upset that I wanted to pay with a credit card, so I was dumb enough to give him a tip to make up for the inconvenience, making that an €18 waste. The only nice thing about this hotel was the young woman at the check-in counter, who told me that the price of the buffet is really ridiculous and she apologized for it. She suggested I download a local app called Lieferando, which is similar to Uber eats, and get some food delivered. I decided to skip dinner instead Then you get to your room, down a dark corridor, with no ceiling and a bunch of exposed ductwork and pipes and other things because the whole thing is under construction. How ironic that I could see all that ductwork, because the air conditioning doesn't work and the room is a little hotbox. I couldn't figure out why the air conditioning was set to such a ridiculously low temperature, 50°F until I realized that the last person here must've sweat through the experience as well. You think it would be easy enough to just open the window and solve the problem, except that the window has a sticker on it that says do not open, and it doesn't open anyway. I hope the construction project next-door is not supposed to be another one of these hotels, but that's what it looks like. And that's about all I can see, a giant construction project right outside my window, from the first floor, also overlooking the parking lot. To call this entire experience a disappointment would be an understatement . I'm trying to put it out of my mind and pretend it never happened, because it's an awful ending of an otherwise great trip. My layover between planes was from 18:30 on Monday until 14:30 on Tuesday. I thought I should stay close to the airport, but in hindsight, I either should have stayed right at the airport, at the Hilton, or stayed in Munich and taken the train to get there. All the other options would have been more pleasant and less expensive. I will never stay in this hotel, or this chain again. Spare yourself the unpleasant experience. For €191, I expected more.

The bus stop is right outside the hotel so this was an excellent choice on our recent overnight layover in Munich. The hotel has a decent sized parking lot for people who are driving to the location. The lobby is well decorated and they have a restaurant in the lobby. We were checked in promptly on arrival and were given a room on the 2nd floor. The elevators are a bit small but we didn't have any luggage so that didn't really affect us. The rooms were very clean and the cozy. Even though we were right next to the airport but we were able to sleep comfortably through the night without hearing jets taking off and landing which usually is an issue for airport hotels. 4 star decent hotel with excellent pricing if you book through Expedia which I did.

ONE HUNDRED Days from our arrival and our stay was during Oktoberfest - I bet they already have reservations book for this room and so they are getting double pay. Stay away from this hotel chain and the corporate greed. Their cancellation policies are really, really bad.

So yes there is a shuttle bus to and from the airport. Yes it does cost extra which is 5€ per person and kids under a certain age are free. However, what really caught my eye was their free breakfast which starts at 4am! It's a buffet style but I've never quite had this many options at other hotels. So it was really nice! Now the rooms ... I'm sorry I hate getting a handicapped room just because I have a child with me. The bathroom isn't ideal for babies since the shower is really open and the entire floor gets wet. I like how there's ac ... but I definitely wish the ac vents pointed at the beds ... which are in a corner which doesn't get any type of airflow at all

Once we arrived, it was a long line (which I think is unusual as a flight was cancelled and all these people were put up by the airline at this hotel). Check-in went very quickly when I did finally get to check in. This was a one night stay close to the Munich airport before heading out the next morning to London. The room was quite large but older. The lighting in the room made it feel kind of lonely and dark. I turned on every light just to make it better. Either I couldn't figure out how to make the shower work, or the shower didn't work so I just ended up taking a bath. Have done that in years, but it wasn't so bad. I slept fine. Quiet for being close to a major airport. The breakfast at this hotel was the best attribute to my stay. Large dining room and a great buffet of many choices. There were attendants constantly wiping tables and setting out new food. Very efficient and clean. I enjoyed everything I ate and even sneaked a few Nutella packets to snack on at the airport.
