This hotel is listed in tourism guides as a two star hotel. By American standards, this is BETTER than a two star hotel. In the US, at two star hotels, I expect stinky hallways, dirty rooms, and an overall depressing experience-- not so here! This hotel is very very clean, smells like home, and has a bright, cheerful breakfast area. It is located conveniently across the street from a grocery store, as well as near public buses, and taxis.
If you are going to stay with a romantic partner, be sure to reserve a room with a two person bed, otherwise you might find yourself with two twins pushed together.
The hotel does not offer complimentary coffee or tea, and it is not possible to get coffee or tea until breakfast is served at 7 am. There are no coffee makers in guest rooms, and guests are not allowed to use small appliances in the rooms. While most people do not want or need coffee until 7 am, for early risers like us, this was a bit annoying.
Breakfast was 10 euros a day when we stayed there, and that included capuccino, espresso, American coffee, tea and sweet and savory continental breakfast items. read more
