This is a hostel rather than a hotel but I've never been to a hostel, so I'm guessing
I was a guest here for five nights in late May and early June.
First of all, the hotel is just 10 rooms on the first floor of a several floor building
The entrance is not well light and has an odor of food as well.
There are several hallways and stairwells on each side, which is unsettling.
The remainder of the building is private apartments, so noise level at night is not amenable to a good night sleep...
The hotel has no amenities just the bare basics...
But anyway, my room had two bedrooms.
Each room has a full size bed
A table for two, which has coffee mugs and at tea kettle on a hot plate but no actual tea, sugar, etc.
There is also a small fridge and a tv on top...
No tissue box nor bottle of water on the night stand.
No toiletries
No microwave
No air conditioning nor ceiling fan
My room faced the back road, the windows are just above where the trash was stored for collection
So flies were present because the window had to be open due to temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s while I was there.
All the lights are the same wattage, so that was odd, bright lights on a night stand are not conducive to sleepiness.
Breakfast is decent, at best...
Maid service could be better
Employees were nice, most spoke English well.
The location is about 5-10 minutes walking distance to the 1A bus which goes to the city center and the subway lines U4 and U2.
A few good restaurants are right on the same block as the hotel, the Chinese place was pretty good
There is a pharmacy on the same block too
Vienna is a beautiful city, you'll be sightseeing most of the day, so you don't need a fabulous hotel room but this hotel is probably not the right choice either.
I would not stay here again
Thank you and have a nice day read more
