I'm a little picky about my clothes (for example, I want my shirts to have pockets) and it's quite a large store with a wide selection, so it's rare that I can't find something that fits me, my budget, and my expectations. The prices are quite reasonable for what they offer, so you can spend $100 and leave with a full bag, feeling like a great bargain-hunter. Felt as though my stylist made no effort to have personal connection and just tried to make a sale without allowing my family and I to discuss things we liked about each dress to help find the perfect one. The changing room was off of a tight hallway and where multiple brides dresses were hanging so I felt crammed on my many rushed trips to and from my groups room and the changing stalls.

It's a nice store, well-lit & clean. I came looking for some new work clothes, but this isn't really the store for business dress clothes. They do not carry any dress pants or Blazers, but I did pick up a cardigan style blouse. Just be careful to inspect the clothes carefully because I picked up 5 of the same blouses before I found a good one (others were stained, ripped, or had seams coming apart). Material of the clothes does feel a little cheap, and prices are just ok. Personally, I'd prefer getting better made clothing at Macy's & using their coupons for a better deal. However this place is useful if you're unable to find plus sized clothing at Macy's, or Lane Bryant's prices are just too high. Worth a look for those curvy ladies. It's literally a store for ladies size 12-26 geared towards a night on the town, special events, or if you just wanna look super put together. The dresses in the window are gorgeous, and inside it's all white walls, trendy music - and great stuff you actually want to wear! Both employees there were really nice - Janelle helped me with fitting room/dress stuff and was awesome! The staff actually writes your name on a wipeboard outside of your fitting room and is attentive and friendly without pushing sales. There was another girl in the dressing room looking for an outfit that I ended up chatting with and even recommending a dress for when we were coming out into the common area to look in the larger mirror. I went in looking for a dress and left with two - both onsale - and I know when the winter pounds come off they're both cut so well they're still going to look great! A nice plus - they sell Spanx, and some other really nice shapewear, and their jewelry section is dangerously shiny... I had to stop myself from getting carried away. The fit was so perfect (and I have a hard shape to fit, skinny legs, thick waist) that I googled the label in hopes of finding more on ebay. The brand is Westport and the logo says W62 - so if you ever see this brand in your thrift store travels scoop them up! Anyway..... Low and behold they carry these jeans at Dress Barn. I do own a few Dress Barn labels from my thrifting scores but never pants. That fit was so perfect I had to go and get more and it was perfect timing too because I just happened to get Tanger Outlet coupons in the mail - double score! I called the store and described what was on the label of the jeans I had and she quickly found a pair and put them at the counter for a 24 hour hold. $29.99 (on sale) is still a bit more than I like to spend, even with the 25% Tanger but that fit.... All I can say is I walked out with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR pairs of this great jeans, all for a whopping $40!!! And that total includes a scarf! How you ask when they were $29.99 a piece? Well.....they had some sales racks in the back and I can never walk past a sales rack. Turns out they had the same jeans, same size only in petite on clearance (which actually fit even better) combined with my 25% Tanger coupon. The $40 total also included a great infinity scarf I found on clearance in the 70% section. Actually there was quite the collection of clearance items for 30%, 50, and & 70% off. Love me some clearance racks!!! Aside from the clearance racks the regular priced items were very fashionable and they had plus sizes in the same styles as misses. I loved the majority of clothes they had and any of the pieces could easily fit nicely in my wardrobe for casual and business, but not at those prices. Not that they were bad, they were just...well, retail, and um I don't pay retail, hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. The two sales gals were wonderful as well, one even worked there for 20 years, that's unheard of in retail. The dressing rooms were clean and well lit. Overall the store had a nice flow and pretty displays that made it hard to walk away (must.remember.I.don't.pay.retail). One thing is for sure...I will be back, and often, to check those clearance racks!

This is probably the neatest, well-stocked, and cleanest JC Penney I have ever been to. The employees here were very nice and helpful. There is plenty of parking at this location as the mall parking lot is fairly large. This store in particular had a lot of stock and a lot of clothes hanging. What I liked is that it was well organized and neat. The cashier was friendly and helped me locate a discount coupon in my account. I will for sure stop in to this JC Penney if I am ever back in town.
