I've really enjoyed my experiences at the Rapid City Public Library. She loves books, and always gets excited to ride the elevator up to the floor where she knows they keep the toys and tot bags. I also LOVE that you can check out your books yourself and do so much stuff on-line, like renew your items and place your own loan requests if something's not available at the time. When I've needed help, there's always been someone helpful close at hand, and when my daughter starts running around and getting obnoxious, no one makes me feel like it's the end of the world.

There must be a lot of criminals around Chadron. Or else their IT person hasn't got the big city out of his system yet. It wouldn't be so bad if the log-in would actually work withouthaving to try all kinds of options. And if it didn't take approximately one minute to load each webpage. Why can't you make it easier for your customers - it's not 1995, you don't need to set it up this way! Other than that the library isn't unpleasant, the librarians are helpful and friendly, and they have a good selection of books.

We love this place! Seriously, the friendliest people in Newcastle work here! It's a small town…read morelibrary, so they don't necessarily have every book you're looking for, but they do have an inter-library loan system. And, if you're lucky they may just add the book to their book order.
