My first time using movers so I was very nervous, but Chapparal moving was the only moving company that would give me a quote thru email after I filled out their questions from their website. Every other place would spam call you, but due to my work I can't sit on the phone and talk just to get a quote. SUPER fast responses, and good pricing. Didn't price gouge and the price the quoted was exactly what I paid. I even had to move up my moving date and they were so great about moving my reservation to accommodate. I think everything was done within 3 hours, and they even offered haul away service as well for 2 couches I didn't need anymore. They already came highly recommended from a friend who has used them a few times herself, and I will also be recommending them to anyone looking for movers.

I began to find individuals on craigslist to take my lease over per the original instructions from the leasing office. Found one, went to the rental office to get them squared away. They informed me it wasn't an issue, and they'd take care of the process from here. Come to find out they put a 3,000 dollar claim to collections on my credit, while also leasing the unit out for the remainder of my lease. To throw debt on college kids just trying to get by in such an unethical, borderline illegal manner is despicable. Frankly they should be ashamed of themselves, but they aren't and continue to do so. Numerous stories of similar events with other former tenets.

I lived here for 2 years. From the day I moved in my A/C did not work properly. It would freeze up…read moreand in the heat of the summer never get below 85 degrees. I called management several times about it and they came out said it was blowing cold air so there was nothing they could do. They told me to put up thermal curtains. Even after my baby was born and came out of NICU they still would not fix it, let me out of my lease, or work with me in any way. I never felt safe here either. I would never walk my dogs alone at night. There were 3 confirmed drug dealers on site and the cops were at the complex once a week arresting someone, domestic disputes, or raiding apartments. There was a "lady of the night" by the entrance and someone was stabbed a month before I moved out. When I first moved in a police chase ended in the complex where the man lived. i could not walk from my door to the car without being starred at and watched. I was followed once while walking to do my laundry. I brought it up to management and they stated it was a police matter. They would not deal with that but would call me every time i didn't pick up dog poop or left boxes on my front porch attempting to fine me. There were people openly doing drugs on their porches and front steps with no shame. The woman Felicia in the office was uncooperative and did it with a smile on her face. I once had a package in the office and they did not tell me about it for 2 months even after I asked. Another time I had a package and asked her to wait in 5 minutes after close because I was around the corner. She told me "We close at 5:30 and I'm leaving at 5:30. Hope you can make it." I arrived at 5:33 and they were closed even though one worker lived on site. The maintenance man let me in and was helpful, even though he couldn't fix my A/C. I would not advise anyone to move in here unless you are another drug dealer looking for a place to operate you enterprise.

Although it was made law that we could not travel, they still charged me $600 for nothing. If I could give this company a negative rating, I would. I understand they are a small company; however, they are still making money off of hundreds of people es expressed in an email I received from their "Concierge Team." This should be illegal as I did not want to cancel, I was forced to due to the circumstances. All of their customers should get their money back if they were impacted by COVID19. As a small business, they can apply for money from the U.S. government. I have no recourse as an individual.
