I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Most recently, my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in May 2025. By July, she was cancer-free. While she chose to undergo chemotherapy alongside the clinic's protocols, her recovery was remarkably fast, and she now maintains her health using the Hoxsey diet. Beyond the medical results, the environment is beautiful and calming. They offer educational classes where nutritionists explain exactly how food affects the body and cancer. While the doctors in Mexico are more blunt and direct than American doctors, I found their honesty refreshing--they simply want to ensure there is no room for misunderstanding. The logistics are also very manageable. They provide a list of discounted hotels and can arrange safe transportation from San Diego. I even personally know drivers who offer border transit for $100 for patients and $75 for companions. This clinic even helped me regrow my hair after suffering from alopecia in 2016. They are honest about their 80% success rate, but as they say, your own will to live is a vital part of the journey.

So for those of you that are heading out to Tijuana Mexico for sleeve surgery this might be one of…read morethe hospitals that you might end up at! Do your do diligence before heading out! Most of the staff doesn't not speak english & only a few Dr.'s do! I was the translator for my friend & while being driven down from the hotel to the hospital I became a translator for another female patient. Let me tell you, the shuttle driver pulls up, dumps you & he is off... Security opens the door & one by one we are sanitized "fumigated" more less! Once we are in I walk to the front desk to let them know what my friends are there for & the sour puss face I got was like no other! Right away the receptionist comes out of the gate with an attitude which then leads me to return the favor! Girl, do you not know that you are officially the first face we see when we walk in from being left on the curb with no idea if we are in the right place, not to mention we are all from a different country & 2 of us do not speak the language, you would think we would of been treated with some respect, almost felt like a burden & then I remembered that I had over $6000 in cash & there was no need to be treated like we were there for charity!!! I tell her that my friend is there for surgery with Dr. Fernando Garcia she says "there is no doctor here by that name & she is not registered here for surgery!!! My heart sinks!!! The receptionist smirks ignoring me & calling up the other patient! I'm in disbelief, here we are far from home with all this cash so all these crazy thought start to run through my head! Oh you bet your sweet ass I got way upaddie.... I started to make calls & ask to speak with someone who could help me! This chick was like "oh well" I was like holly fuck are we being set up, are we about to be put back on the curb, are we at the wrong hospital & homegirl is still like "don't give two shits!" My friend has me call the coordinator & they say to hang tight that they will fix it... we wait & nothing, I call again & we are getting absolutely no answer from no one, my friend is like "let's just leave & go back home, I'm feeling anxious" then the Dr. in charge comes down & instead of making it better she makes it worse with her attitude & by insinuating that we are wrong & we came on the wrong date etc, etc.... I pull up all my friends emails to prove that we are right & even then she refused to admit she was the wrong one! Now I'm fuming & upset because my friend wants to cry & I'm treated like I'm fucken crazy! Having a bit of a medical background I already see so many things wrong with this picture!!! As we straight shit out my friend & I get massive shit about not being able to email a covid negative test! We have the results, they are negative & they can clearly see it, but WiFi is non existent here & we are having a hard time emailing it & I suggest maybe text & print it & they refused to let me print it because according to them it's not valid!!! I call bullshit & I take it very personal! The other patient hands them a printed copy of hers & it was perfectly fine! So now I know they are just messing with us! From that point on we get treated poorly & get attitude from almost everyone we come in contact with!!! Moving forward her surgery went perfect & the care gets a bit better! Some of these nurses need bedside manner training, if you don't speak Spanish they automatically get bothered! The other patient that I was helping translate for was being mocked by nurses right outside her door for not speaking the language, she would call the nurses & they would ignore her! I literally had to go to the nurses station to get them to come give her something for nausea! Sad situation! Very unprofessional & sad especially for someone traveling along & from far! Then to make matters worse the same Dr. I had the issue with earlier that day went in to her room told her she shouldn't be lazy & should walk & confiscated her gas & nausea meds. Unbelievable! Anyhow, the next 2 days flew by & we had some new nurses, old ones switch out & it felt like a complete new experience! It's a very clean facility I must say! I give them 5 stars for cleanness & for quick response time when called to the room! 3 stars over all because of the crappy attitudes! My best advice is try to travel with a companion & even better if they speak the language! Do yourself a favor & make all the calls necessary to confirm you are registered before heading out! Print out all documents just in case you have issues! Call your cell provider & pay that extra for international service, trust me! Bring cash it's difficult putting out money or finding places that will take card or run the risk of being locked out of your account! Down load translation apps before you arrive! If you are taking a companion you might want to sneak some small snacks & water because there is no food or drinks allowed & there is no cafeteria or vending machines like hospitals in the states!

Prior to crossing I needed to use the restroom, but neglected to do so. I was told by a person in my party that I should have used the restroom prior to getting across the border, as everywhere you go they charge you to use the restroom. But not me, I know a thing or two, and I know that you can find a free bathroom just about anywhere you go. I mean my friend wasn't wrong, as soon as you get across the border there is a sign to use the bathroom. After walking around a bit and for what felt like miles, it was time, I couldn't hold it anymore. Coming down the street I saw the sign for the hospital. My mind already knew, there has to be a bathroom in here, and it has to be free of charge to use. Outside the facility we asked someone that just exited if there was a bathroom inside and she informed us that there was and where to find it. Easy as pie. But once inside, I was kind of floored by how nice and clean this place was. It doesn't have your typical hospital smell to it. It almost comes across as a mall more than it does a hospital. Of course, all we saw of this was the entrance, escalators and the general floor where the restrooms were. But it still struck me that what is offered in the hospitals in Mexico isn't quite there yet in the US. Granted, to see a floor mostly for plastic surgery is odd to me, but not unheard of. Also on this floor was a clothing store, but not for hospital scrubs or the like, it looked more like workout clothing. The staff inside that we did interact with were very polite and directed us to where we wanted to go. As I had said, the facility was nearly spotless. Smelt fresh, and the bathrooms, you guessed it, were free to use.
