While we were here we ended up getting all of our rings cleaned as well. (Yay, thank you to the hubby!) My husband and I can be quite picky when it comes to big purchases like this but you can see from the 5 star reviews here that Patrick comes off very accommodating but trustworthy. We felt the pricing was reasonable when comparing to online prices and you can get your setting customized here. He was not overly pushy but also gave honest feedback where needed. He recommended going with a bigger ring size than I thought I should go with but ultimately that was the right call given hands swell in the summer and there's no guarantee I'll lose weight (I was telling him I'm in the middle of losing weight lol... maybe too optimistic on my end?) I feel like that could be a sensitive topic for some women but he handled it well with light humor. The customized ring setting takes 3-4 weeks and resizing with fixing a diamond in the setting took about an hour. We came in unannounced the first time and Patrick invited us back the next weekend where he was able to show me the diamonds I wanted in the different carat sizes and cuts I wanted. I would highly recommend checking out Pro Gems and working with Patrick for any future engagement rings, anniversary rings, or any fine jewelry in general!!

The only reason y'all got $90+ to cover the piercing is due to the fact I wasn't there to call you out on your screwup. My daughter did not want to make my granddaughter feel bad on her birthday so she stayed silent, smiled and paid but one ear was pierced so far off center that they eventually just took out the earrings and let them heal over. I looked over their wide selection of watches and jewelry. A very fine selection. We landed on the tennis necklace and a Swarovski pen to sign our legal documents the day of our wedding. They worked on our financing options with us and were able to engrave our last name and date of our wedding onto our new pen of commitment. Mixed Experience - Good Repairs, but Disappointing Rhodium Plating…read more I brought in three pieces of jewelry for different services: bracelet resizing, replacing a missing diamond, and rhodium plating on another bracelet. I was happy with two of the three services. The resizing and diamond replacement turned out well, and I appreciate the work done on those pieces. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the rhodium plating. My bracelet originally had a beautiful, bright finish, but the connecting O-rings had started showing a yellowish color. After the rhodium plating, the O-rings were white again, but the entire bracelet looked noticeably duller and darker than before. I noticed the difference immediately when I picked it up, but initially thought I might be imagining it. When I later brought up my concerns, I was told that the jewelry was too delicate, the gold was thin, and additional chemical treatment could cause it to break or further compromise its quality. My concern is that these potential limitations and risks should have been explained before the work was performed, not after I expressed dissatisfaction with the result. I felt the approach was more technical than focused on the overall aesthetic quality and finish that I expected from a professional jeweler. I genuinely wanted to support a local business, and I don't believe choosing a local jewelry shop should mean lowering expectations for craftsmanship or communication. Overall, I appreciate the two successful repairs, but I wish there had been better communication and more attention to the final appearance of the rhodium-plated bracelet. Prices...acceptable.
