Whoever replaced the quartz pack did an excellent job. They even cleaned my clock. Educational moment, I appreciated it when Dana told me not to reset the time with the hands, but rather set the time with the quartz pack. Very important detail that I did not know made a difference. A BIG THANK YOU to this business. I appreciated the professionalism and workmanship.

The Village Goldsmith in Glendora…read more Avoid this place! I took 4 items there to be repaired and it was a nightmare. I wanted to replace a small diamond I had lost from a ring, I wanted to remove two diamonds from another ring, sadder a necklace back together, & replace a watch battery. I dropped off all 4 items on Wednesday & was told by Tuesday it should all be done. Tuesday I got a call saying they were not able to find a diamond that matched the size of the diamond I had lost (it was a tiny chip of a diamond, weight .08) therefore they were not fixing anything and to pick up my jewelry. I am appalled! They kept my jewelry almost a complete week and did nothing! The sales girl Lisa's exact words were "we have a boatload of other jewelry." They lost my business.

It's a smaller store, but the lady working there that day was extremely friendly and helpful. She pointed out a few items, answered all of my questions, and was genuinely a pleasant person to talk to. The shop is well-kept, organized, and has a very nice selection of items. Of course, the price range varies depending on what you're looking for, but there seemed to be something for a variety of budgets. Like I said, I didn't find what I was looking for this time, but that doesn't mean you won't. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by and taking a look. You never know--you might find exactly what you're looking for. Again, sorry I didn't take any photos, I didn't wanna seem weird or creepy. Plus, I believe there's enough photos.

I've been exploring watches for the past couple of months and was genuinely excited to find a local…read morejewelry store like Y2K Jewelers near me in the Glendora/San Dimas area. Their listings mention carrying Citizen watches, so I hoped to browse in person and potentially make a purchase. I arrived around 10:40-10:45 AM, saw the doors wide open, and assumed they were open early (official hours start at 11 AM). I stepped inside politely and asked the gentleman behind the counter if they were open. He responded with a curt "yes," immediately followed by an abrupt and rude "What do you want?" I was surprised and confused I've never been greeted that way when entering a store intending to browse and spend money. His tone, stare, and overall demeanor felt dismissive and unwelcoming from the very first moment. I explained I just wanted to look around for watches, but he remained short and unfriendly throughout. I even pointed out directly that his behavior felt rude, hoping it might change the interaction, but there was no apology, no softening, and no effort to engage. I left without browsing further. There's a basic level of professionalism one expects from a jewelry store especially one dealing in higher-value items like watches where a welcoming, respectful attitude encourages customers to stay and spend. I rarely leave poor reviews (this is one of very few I've ever written), and I understand people can have off days, but this experience was so consistently off-putting that it stood out. A different approach starting with basic courtesy would make a huge difference. I understand security concerns in California, but treating potential customers with respect shouldn't be optional. This left me disappointed, and I won't be returning. Attaching photos of the gentleman and the store for context.

Got an amazing engagement ring repair at this place!…read more I couldn't be happier with the repair of this ring, which was gifted to me by my fiancé's grandmother. It means so much to both of us. The color and shine had faded, and the double band needed to be replaced with a single band. The ring also didn't fit my finger very well, but I actually forgot to mention that.
