This is my first visit to this casino, since it transitioned from the Lumere Casino, The casino is now a Caesar Casino property. I had a good experience at the casino, but there's not as many slot machines and tables as I expected. The staff is very helpful.

Meh I don't know. First, we walked here which takes you through a rougher part of town, under a bridge where you may be accosted for money, and then down a hill. I would recommend Uber'ing here. The inside was nice, I liked the decor, seemed clean. We were only eyeballed and then let in as it was obvious we were over 21, and the security was nice enough. However, this wasn't the best experience I have had with how pushy players are, the dealers a little too weathered and overworked, and the staff much of the same. Looks like they have some entertainment there and again - nice place but not sure I will return. Recommended to try - I liked it as a one-time visit.

    Mold in the vents

What a horrible experience from the beginning, we made reservations several weeks ahead of time we got an email stating be there by 12:59. We were not able to get there until about 2 o'clock where we are informed. There are no rooms ready and check-in is not till 4 PM.. we went next-door had a nice dinner and came back at 3:30. They were finally rooms ready but they let us know. We have to pay an extra $15 for early check-in even though they are aware of the mixup with the emails. I called her one 800 number the lady had me hand the phone to the desk clerk where she told him to waive the fee he told her no at this point I was frustrated enough. I said just cancel my whole reservation and give me a refund. No they wouldn't do that either. I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I get into the room and it stinks and smells musty and this is even a suit I start looking around. There's mold in the vents half the elevators near our room were shut down so we had to walk to the other side get in those elevators, then walk all the way back around. There Is piles of laundry on the floor in the hall just a horrible experience all around

I realized why I don't enjoy coming to Lumiere immediately after I walked in, the cigarette smoke is overbearing. I remember when they first opened it not smelling so overwhelming but I guess the years of patrons smoking is seeping into the building. I'm used to non-smoking casinos, I hope Lumiere will change the policy on smoking, it smells disgusting. I was proud to see how the team wore masks and many people were cleaning the slot machines throughly. Many of the seats were removed allowing for social distancing. I'm sure the regulars who want a socially safe environment enjoy the casino but the smoke makes me feel unsafe, I won't be returning.

    Dirtiness

We booked the top suite for 1 night with the kids. When we got there one elevator was broken. We went up to our room on the second floor. Everything was bland, the couch was tiny, it had a table with four chairs, just a couple wall hangings, no brochure for what to do in the city. Bathroom small and old, bedroom decent sized. We could not switch HDMI for the kids to play there XBox they don't have that. It had a gas smell in the room. The bed was not very nice at all. The room was filthy, dried blood on the light fixture shade, mattress stained, couch had cigarette burn, staines all over the furniture. Pubs in the showers and on toilet. We did not stay we checked out late at tnight. Did not feel comfortable staying. Best stay at the four season or elsewhere. Terrible room for a luxury suite.

My girlfriend and I made a random stop at Lumiere Place since we had finished our initial itinerary in St. Louis. We had no expectations upon entering the casino, but it was not one of the better ones that we had been to in recent memory. First off, the parking was free on the Sunday that we had visited so we didn't need to apply for a casino rewards card, but we did so anyway on the casino floor rewards center. Second, we didn't explore much of the casino, but we did make our way around the floor a few times and it wasn't that big. Of course, there were slot machines everywhere and the table games were mainly in the middle of the casino, with the exception of the small poker room. Third, we really disliked the fact that the casino allowed for smoking throughout so there was smoke EVERYWHERE we walked. Basically, it was unavoidable. Lastly, since we're from the East coast, we weren't used to the free self-service beverage stations located on the casino floor. We were shocked to see that, but I guess that's how they do it in the mid-west. Good for them and good for the customers because who knows how much people have lost here. We didn't get a chance to eat at the buffet, sit at the Wet Willie's by the casino floor or explore other parts of the casino, but there didn't seem to be much else inside. There was nothing too glamorous about the casino or anything that stood out in particular.

The hotel was nice and a great view, but if you want to win here good luck. I loved the stairs when you drive in and the view of the bridge.

The staff were very nice and courteous from everyone I encountered while there. I arrived early and my room was available, which I was thankful for; however, the early check in fee was a little steep but at least they were able to charge less due to the agreement with the conference organizer. The last day of the conference I asked to have a late checkout as I wanted to be able to go back to my room after 12 pm and change clothes. I was told that for a late checkout it'd be a charge of half the room rate. That was way too much. I wasn't going to stay long, I just wanted to keep my clothes in the room until I could come back and change before heading out the door to the airport. I'd recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the St. Louis area and look forward to my next trip...I'll just make sure not to check in early, or ask for a late checkout.

Once you reach the inside of the casino and hit the brick floor the vibes are a little better. The casino offers plenty of options for eats from a steakhouse to a cafe and bakery, a grille and the above mentioned spots and more. The game room is OK. We played Halo the entire time since it's our favorite game. The drinks in the bar are cool depending on the bartender you chose. Asia serves some good eats, they are pretty expensive but the chefs are legit. I have hit-n-miss experiences with the bakery/cafe when trying their selections, so venture at your own risk. I really only come here when the BF suggest and it's just a pit stop for us to either begin our night or end our night.

I'm telling you this because there is no way I would go back to any poker series or poker room that I didn't like. My experience here was excellent. I wouldn't say it was exciting--if you want that go to the Horseshoe down the road. For the Hollywood Casino, it's a really chill middle-class type vibe, which is what I love. You're not going to find many pretentious jerks or low-vibrational people here. It's right smack in the middle. This applies to the staff and patrons. The food here is good. In fact, that is the best noodle bar I have had in any casino. For the sports bar, the food is probably average, but the energy and staff make up for that. It's a great place to get a beer and a burger and relax. I didn't eat at the fancy Italian place because I'm not wealthy. I was once wealthy, and I was once poor; right now I'm in the middle. If I'm going to splurge, it will be for a poker tournament or a concert, not a fancy Italian restaurant in a casino, but I was told by other poker players that the Italian restaurant is superb. This casino is also a really cool place to walk around. As I write this, it's all coming back to me. It's almost like two casinos in one. There is a chill side (where the RunGood Series was held and where I spent most of my time) and there is a 'party' side. Don't take that literally but you will find more people drinking and with groups of friends and stuff like that. But they're usually just playing slots or chillin' at the bar. This side is much larger. Bonus: The bartenders are really cool. I don't know much about the slots because I don't play them. I do know that parking is easy and this casino is very easy to find from the highway. I wouldn't say this is my favorite casino, but it's definitely in the top half. Recommended. Maybe see you soon, maybe not. 50/50.

We did not utilize the Valet for parking but they were ever so kind holding the doors open for us. We went to the front desk. Ms YESHE BUNTOWIJAYA greeted us warmly. She introduced us to the night Manager Mr Luke Hutton. The scooters we rented were already there and powered up for us. It is the only way to get around the large Hotel. Mr Luke recognized the lost look in my eyes when he mentioned getting off on the 8 th floor to go around to another elevator to get to the 9th floor. He stepped right up to take us to our luxurious room. A bell hop already had our luggage from our nieces car and going upstairs with them. Once at our most luxurious room, Luke took time to give us a tour. It was so big I could get lost walking around the bed. Rooms behind and around rooms. I asked Bev if we had a GPS on our scooters to find the Onder Christmas Party. Once we settled in it was quite easy to find our way. The bell hop delivered our bags while we were still having the tour. This was the first time I felt such a respect when I had not earned it yet. Kindness given is easy for kindness returned. We looked around the hotel finding the restaurant for breakfast, and the Spa as well as the ball room. Bev was exhausted from the travel. She kicked off her shoes and laid on top of the bed. She was out like a light. I relaxed writing notes then went to get ready for Bed. I washed up in a bathroom that was perfect for the handicap. I put on a very thick robe the hotel provides. The Bed was wonderful, perfect in every way. Sleep must have been fantastic if I judge by my bed head ...flat in one place. We woke up knowing it was the day of the party. A great Hot shower! A fast dress for a " ...let's explore the hotel more..."outfit! And off we went for a relaxing breakfast. Once in Gordon Ramsey restaurant we were overwhelmed. Juljan was our server and was absolutely professional ,friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Daniel was so very kind welcoming us here. She knew I loved the orange juice and got me a second one. Bev was thrilled with the breakfast. She could only eat a bit of it. I loved the Honey on toast. Hope stopped by our table to join in the laughter and smiles. She let us know she would be at the party that night. Being Treated with such respect and kindness kept the smile on my face our whole stay! After breakfast we went to the ball room flood to pre look how it was laid out. Where to go and if there is room. My ADHD kicks in when there is an unknown. It was being prepared for the party so we did not stay long but long enough to know we were informed a special treat. We then explored the Spa. Delaney was on duty and welcomed us like we were long time friends , respectful and knowledgeable all at once. Bev was looking for something. I wandered. I found a lavender/Eucalyptus spray that was heavenly. Bev saw a tote she really wanted. We purchased both items. Delaney showed us the exercise room and then the elevator to go back to our room. We noticed a light in the living room was not working so we called for help. I looked at the plug, the cord and I could see nothing. I forgot his name. Please look it up and thank him for us. Once at the Party on the 6th floor Hope saw us and came right over to us to say hello. That was so nice to remember us and go out of her way to say hi. I would love to give praises to the following. This wouldn't be my first choice if I had to come back for a concert

They have obviously tried to reduce smoke odor. We enjoyed the terrace vibe with lighting and beautiful water feature. Our room was large with no smells. Bed was comfortable with great bedding. Staff was friendly, but we had limited interaction. They did allow us to check in early with no notice-but there was a $15 additional charge discussed up front. We will stay again next Christmas because Rooftop Bar is my new favorite spot! *do wish room fridge was colder

Next room, sink was clogged and either cold water or extremely hot! Maintenance came in to plunge gross amount of yuck, in the sink!! The front desk shift manager informed me that the pipes are " Old St Louis pipes; you need to run the water for at least 10 minutes" she also said, " unless someone tells us about an issue in the room, we don't know it - sheets are spotted from our new laundry facility due to iron marks" etc etc!!" Today- cold water only in shower!! Something gross stuck to my clean towel- should have taken a photo!! Do yourself a favor- bring chlorax wipes, shower shoes and test everything prior to unpacking!!
