For my wife's birthday I looked all over the Internet for a specific pair of Ariat women's booties in a specific size and was so excited when I saw on this website that they had them in stock. I had already been to ariats website and knew that they did not have these any longer in the size I was looking for. Horse lovers said they were in stock so I paid a premium and never got any kind of order confirmation of any type they just took my money. I then began emailing and calling with no results. I finally demanded a refund after speaking to somebody in customer service who told me that I would not get a confirmation e-mail that the boots had shipped for at least two weeks. She then told me they would be coming from the manufacturer directly when the manufacturer doesn't even carry that boot in my selected size any longer lol Needless to say this was for my wife's birthday and was a huge headache and a bunch of BS. I ended up finding the pair elsewhere and then had to wait on a refund. I have used this website many times before but my most recent experience has been awful. I made an order about 12 days in advance of when I needed an item. While the order was to ship in 2 or 3 days it did not ship for 5 days, and that was a Friday. The item arrived the day following when it was needed. The other item was the incorrect size. I attempted contact via the email address on the website (support@horseloverz.com) and my email could not be delivered. I utilized the contact form on the website 5 different times and got absolutely no response to my inquiries. I called multiple times and left voice mails as no one actually answered (during hours they claimed to be active). Finally I disputed the charge with my credit card company. They were able to respond to that, so I was denied. All I wanted was to return items anyways. Again after this denial I tried email, contact form and phone again. After 5 calls I was able to get to talk to a live person and finally have return instructions. I will never order again from this merchant. read more

This service is abyssmal at best, they are real POS. Placed an order 3 weeks ago, after 2 missed extended shipping dates, i asked for a refund as they still have not shipped my items. They get one star for my past orders. I have been ordering from this company since I was a teenager and I am almost 40. I have always ordered one thing or two things here and there. I have never had an issue. I have always received an invoice and the product has always been as described. I just placed a huge order for Farm and it did not come with an invoice which was an issue for booking and me getting the $950 refund from the barn. I contacted the company to ask if I could get my invoice and they said they do not do them anymore but they did send a shipping confirmation. I have explained to multiple people that a shipping confirmation is not an invoice. an invoice is a very very simple document. It should not be hard to provide this to customers. But after two weeks of contacting this company through phone and email I have gotten absolutely nowhere. My other option was to return this huge order. And that's what I ended up having to do. I am probably about $160 and shipping costs for a terrible experience and terrible customer service and products. As a single mother before Christmas and $160 is a lot of money for me to lose. There are lots of other companies that provide the same services with much better customer service. Check out chicks Saddlery. Even Amazon has most of these products and you can get it in two days with no shipping fees. I've shopped with horseloverz for about 12-13 years, and while it isn't same day shipping I almost always get better prices with this company than with any others. Myself, I figure the savings are worth the wait. I'm sad to see that auctions have closed, i scored some amazing deals there over the years. read more

UPDATE: I'll update my rating when the package arrives. They called me back and said they had fixed the issues. RUN AWAY! I placed a couple of orders two weeks ago, ok so two weeks to ship items(but wait). One order was my son a leather jacket the same day as my horse supplies, but I made sure the orders were two separate orders because he lives in Georgia and I live in Texas. His jacket made it to him QUICKLY! Two weeks later I finally get a notification my package has been sent. Well my package is on its way to GEORGIA! I will see IF there's anything we can do for you!!! Another item removed from my order for no reason. customer service apologized and said they would put the missing item back. unexplained message from shipper - delivery interrupted. company unable/unwilling to explain. after weeks of waiting replacement order never showed up. customer service person stated they could not help with shipping issues. could not explain why replacement not sent. asked for money back. 2 months later did not receive money. finally got partial reimbursement. multiple contacts to customer service and they only repeat themselves. never given any explanation of issue or any attempt to mitigate. I ordered a grazing muzzle from them with attached halter but was sent a muzzle that needs to be attached to a halter - something completely different. I've been a regular customer of Horseloverz for nearly a decade, and when I saw all of these one star reviews here, I had to pipe up that I've gotten some brilliant deals there, usually on eBay, the shipping is always prompt and most of their products are of decent quality. I've bought blankets (I learned to stay away from the Hilasons, they rip too easily, but that's not the fault of Horseloverz.) halters, bridles, shoe clothes, and just about all kinds of stuff there, and I cannot recall a single transaction that went poorly for me. I just wanted to post a fair review of the excellence with which i've dealt through Horseloverz over the years. The on line auction on Horseloverz site is a scam.I purchase items in their on line auction. At least 40% of the time, when I win an item, especially when it is at a drastic discount from the regular price, it disappears from my cart, only to reappear, in the auction again, at a later date. Their explanation is that it isn't in stock, but then why did they have it in the auction in the first place, if it isn't in stock or they didn't have one set aside for the auction. They also often have an item in the auction and list the retail value, however, the item is often also on site on their site at a much lower price than the retail price they listed on the auction site. I have mentioned this to them and yet, it continues to happen. Often, when I try to call, to place an order, I get a recording indicating representatives are no available and telling me to leave my name and number and someone will get back to me, but nobody ever returns my call. I am going to file a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs Better Business Bureau. They also show a high star rating, on their site, however, when I try to post a review on their site, it won't let me. read more
