One of these expensive places where I'd get offered well whisky I didn't want and I'd have to entertain an untrained dog they kept around because it's edgy. I wasn't happy with the haircut there. It looked fine after the cut, but required a lot of maintenance: goop and comb and goop and comb. Then it grew out poorly and required lots more goop. Jim saw me and right away said "Who did this to you?! How am I going to fix this?!" Then he groaned a lot. It was great. He worked with me, offered suggestions, we talked through options, and I left very happy. He was even happy! Best part is that the cut now makes sense for the way my hair grows. It looks better with no taming necessary. I've been going to see him ever since and have no reason to look anywhere else anymore.

A) Tony is a great barber B) A second mortgage might be needed to pay for the haircut Both were fairly true, though I didn't have to connect with my banker. I told Tony exactly how I wanted my hair cut and he NAILED it! The cut and the length were exactly what I wanted. He even readjusted my part - which very few barbers seem to bother with anymore. After I told him how I wanted it cut, he said, "you want a really good trim", which given my diminished scalp is typically what I am seeking but rarely seem to get. I've only had one other barber whose work I've been this satisfied with and sadly he retired (and passed away) a few years ago. Tony is among the best to be found without a doubt. Now, as for the cost. In looking at the reviews, I was seeing $37 as the high mark - but that was a couple years back, so I went in figuring it would be $40, maybe $42. Nope... $45. That's twice as much as I've paid the barber I've been seeing in recent times - who's a nice guy, but whose haircuts are not at Tony's level. So, will I go back? Yes. Will I go back as frequently as I'd like? I doubt it. My five star rating is based entirely on the quality of the haircut I received and my experience with Tony overall. If I were to factor in the cost, the real rating would be about 3 1/2 stars. So that's it in a nutshell - hope my review helps anyone who reads it to make the right choice for themselves.

When I arrived, Joshua acknowledged me right away as well as my appointment time. He was servicing another customer yet apologized that he was a bit behind which was alright for me. They told me they generally only take appointments but were checking schedules to see if anyone could make time for my cut. Will squeezed me in before his next customer and honestly gave me one of the best- if not the best haircut I've ever gotten. These guys know what they are doing and go above and beyond to satisfy their customer. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cut.
