Went on a Sunday (July 31st) as a walk in.. All I needed was my beard cut and lined up.. I got the young fella in the back with glasses.. I had to fly to Cancun the following day so I couldn't visit my regular barber .. I was referred here by 2 people and I got the shittiest barber ever.. I'd like to say I'm a great tipper and can be a lifelong customer if you take care of me.. Omg I've never been so disappointed with a beard shave bc it didn't look like he did anything.. I could have done the same thing on my own.. How do you let a customer walk out of your business looking like i did? See pic.. I paid $15 plus a $5 tip.. Also, the barbers were anxious to close the doors so customers wouldn't walk in bc they had plans to go to the beach or something I over heard... Businesses don't stay open treating people like that and rushing them out.. Again to the barber in the back with a thin beard and glasses, you my friend need to choose a different career path as barbering is not for you.. You SUCK plain and simple... I have been going to this barbershop on and off for at least a year or two trying to get at least 1 success haircut. But obviously since this is a Latino based barbershop they are not good with cutting other nationalities' hair like black and whites. The results are so poorly done I sometimes question if I should even pay for the haircut I received. I have no other barbershop in my area so this terrible shop is the best I can do. To add on, there has been multiple times where I've sat down and have been getting my haircut and they mess it up. There are other times more occurringly where I find out a day after the haircut I have bumps on my head due to this storenot cleaning their clippers after every cut. This is not hate this is all facts. Do not come here unless you want to waste money read more

As a client since its inception, I have never had a negative experience at Fade City. Rarely will you find highly talented, licensed barbers whom will treat walk-in customers as regulars. This is undoubtedly a rarity in the barbershop field and Fade City's ability to treat its customers in this way is truly a breath of fresh air. I have been getting my haircut with Freddie, Fade City Mayor, going on six years. However, I have great rapport with all the barbers. There is never a dull moment in the shop, as we are always consumed with conversation. Having this type of experience is what really makes Fade City unique. Walk in. Was not greeted or even acknowledged for 5 min at least. Dirty and disorganized shop. Was asked if I had an appointment. He asked if another barber "wanted" to cut my hair. Isn't that their job. Gave White a shot haven't been to a barber in a long while. Looked fine at first but I got home and there where long hairs all over. Very unprofessional and seemed to be ran by a bunch of kids without any business experience. One of the barbers was laying on the couch also. Will not be back. Do not recommend. read more

Don't be a walk in because all the barber's standing around not doing anything besides talking won't ask you if you need a cut. Owner is one of those guys trying to fit in and be young in his ghetto ass shop. Been there 3 times. Once a kid made me bleed a lot after using a razor to bald fade me, 2nd time owner snapped and gave me a good cut, 3rd time I walked in and ask how many were in front of me. After 45 minutes it was my turn and he said sorry I can't fade you, I have to pick up my kid. I was like please God don't let me turn 19 years old again and hit him for making me waste 45 minutes of my life just waiting for a cut. Barbers have skills but shop is ran poorly! That's all it takes for me to find a new shop and I always tip $5 no matter what so they can take care of me every time. read more

The guys that work here are young. I'm pretty old by comparison(lets say 2.5 times their age). My wife loved the haircut I received here. I will go back. 4 stars for great haircut minus one star for charging me a fade haircut price for a Tuesday haircut that should have been half the price. Shame on you for not answering my email also. I tip well so I was a little annoyed by that. Obviously around here, a good barber for reasonable price is hard to find, so I will overlook these mistakes the first time. Like I said young guys doing the work. One other suggestion is that the straight razor finish needs shave cream or soap. Other than that these guys know their stuff. I don't understand the other review but that was then and this is now. Give these guys a try. read more

I walked one afternoon to notice a barber with blond hair dancing and spinning around with clippers and scissors in one hand and recording it with his phone on the other, not sure what he was on but he wasn't sober, I drive down Roosevelt most of the time throughout my commute to work and I can constantly see him jerking around while having a customer, not professional at all and very dangerous. I asked him for a haircut before and he completely ignored me. Another instance when I walked in he constantly drinks sprite out of cups to make the haircut even longer than it should be. The manager really needs to put these guys in their place. Never will return. read more

No stars. Walked in hair all over the floor. 30 minutes later and no one swept the hair. The guy towards the back on the left with a tattoo on his lower left leg said some things about woman in a sexual way. I looked at him at pointed at my 12 year old daughter to let him know she's listening to the unnecessary stuff. He just looked at me and not once did he apologize. Music playing too loud and swearing in it. My first time here and the first impression is horrible. I only came here because my step son got his hair cut her last time. No respect for customers especially knowing that there is a minor here. read more

Today I went to go get a haircut and I waited 1 hour and 10 min just to get a haircut the only tooo the guy 20 minutes . The first time I went I had a great experience when I left I felt refreshed and treated so well but today was nothing like that. I made a specific appointment for 5 o'clock in the afternoon it was a Friday so they were busy. I got there on the dot, didn't expect him to be done directly at 5 o'clock but somewhere around That time. so after waiting and hour he was about to take me but he needed a few minutes he was tired I said "yeah sure, no problem" I figured I've always been happy the way this guy has cut my hair so I was fine hopefully I would get the same satisfaction as I did from previous times. Mind you its 6 o'clock already and that I always give a 5 dollar tip to this guy cuz I'm happy with him. Finally he takes me after talking for 10 minutes to his buddies outside I tell him what I always want he apologizes for the wait I told him that was fine but truthfully I was a little fustrated. ( note: I wanted my hair short so I asked him to cut it short but that was my decision that has nothing to do with the way I felt when I left) starts to cut me up and I was fine , took him about 20 min now I don't know if I just had a really simple haircut or he was just tired and wanted to get it over with as quick as possible. The past times that I've been there he took his time like every cut mattered and I'm not saying this guy was a bad barber he's 1 of the best that I've been to. Although I could of came in without an appointment and would of gotten out quicker than I did with the appointment. The whole point of making appointments Is to have the time that you want as the customer to get a haircut and to request that specific barber that you personally like. Some people come in with appointments others don't. I still love this place and I'm still gonna go there I just had a really bad experience hopefully this is the only one. I'm just putting my opinion out there, if your gonna have appointments you have to stick with them otherwise there's no point in having them. I'm also saying that you should treat your customer as if it your last. Like I said no hate toward this place just some bad experience that hopefully won't happen again. read more
