I wanted to get my hair dyed and trimmed, and the owner/operator Wahib was there. I asked about a dye and a trim and he said no problem. Someone had just left and he was patient, quiet and very professional. He trimmed my hair and then very meticulously put the dye on, and first applied cocoa butter around my ears and neck. When he was done he told me to wait outside and offered me a free soda, which I declined. After 20 minutes he rinsed and even touched up my neckline with a fresh razor! The effect is great, and all of this for a really reasonable price! This is THE spot to be taken care of for a good haircut, dye, or just a trim. As the first reviewer mentioned, as I once went to a Floyd's Haircut place, this place has absolutely ZERO pretension, not noisy, and has all the wonderful charm of what a true barbershop/salon is out there to do - not overwhelm the customer with B.S., upselling and the other garbage that you have to put up with in most places just to walk in, get your hair cut or trimmed, and pay and leave. So I thought I would swing on by for a quick trim before our recent vacation. Whereas the Sport Clips processed in my mind prior to this visit entailed a "Hooteresque" type of hair cuttery, this was definitely not the reality. All staff was dressed appropriately in their properly sized referee tops. While I do enjoy haircuts from local establishments such as Sean Patrick's, etc., Sport Clips did the job required. Walking in there were a few gentleman waiting for haircuts. I signed into their system and awaited my turn. It wasn't until they didn't call my name although it was my turn was when I started to feel a little weird. They jumped ahead and asked other males what their name was. However, my cutter eventually righted it when she asked if I was there for a haircut and what my name was. The experience was definitely positive, I was treated to a shampoo which entailed a nice scalp massage. While I was also offered a warm towel to put on my face I declined, because, well, make up..... We were then off to the chairs. It was mighty pleasant to watch some college football and not hear the chit chat of gossip. Whereas my cutter and I did converse, it wasn't the obnoxious, nauseating conversations I'm privy to in normal salons. The cut also wasn't a wham bam thank you ma'm kind of cut, my stylist actually took her time. I like Sport Clips, and apparently my husband was correct in his description of this establishment.
