Seeing as my furnace was an older model I was not surprised to learn that parts were scarce for this older model now. I did go ahead and get a new Broan electric furnace at a very reasonable cost installed by Bob's. Eric is a very knowledgeable tech and installed the unit within a few hours. Now I have a 10 year parts and labor warranty with Bob...and have 10 years peace of mind. I highly recommend Bob's as he has been in business 50 years and knows his stuff and SPECIALIZES IN MOBILE HOME FURNACES AND COOLING. Most HVAC service companies charge a Service Call fee when they show up. Bob DOES NOT. He is strictly parts and labor only....no service call fees. I encourage you to see my review of them on Yelp and read how terribly I was let down and overcharged by AtoZoff and their low IQ techs. But thankfully a friend recommended CHIPPEWA. Dale, the owner, came out to my home. I was impressed by his intelligence, his knowledge, and his focused determination to solve my problem. His array of diagnostic tools and the way he handled them was far superior to the stupidity and incompetence exhibited by AtoZoff. My furnace had either failed to produce heat or when it did, once it reached the desired setting, it failed to hold the temperature which meant the temperature would plunge. I endured this through September and October. I put off calling because AtoZoff had taken so much money from me, $400 and doing essentially nothing.. But it was a happy day when Dale came. He discovered the cause: the pressure switch had gone bad. Dale is pleasant and his price was fair at $233.00. I say, don't hesitate to call him.

This is a newer home (four years old) with a flooded master bathroom on a Friday morning. Eighty year olds stumbling in the dark at night to the second far off bathroom for three days a problem. The first they could look at it Monday. After several calls that was going to be the best time. Lewis was at our door at exactly 8 AM, Monday. He looked at the toilet and saw a leaking supply line. He said he had one in his truck and I said replace it. He quickly did so. The one he replaced it with was braided steel, replacing a cheap plastic one so I ask if he had another to replace the same in our other bath if it was the same. He said he would check. He did and he did. He then went to the truck and made the bill. Travel to our home (less and one mile from their shop) $30. Labor $125 (labor rate $300/hour (I have Ring video times) parts $33+ I checked Amazon retail less than $12 for both. Very good service TOTAL time at property (including drive on and off) 27 minutes - total bill $188. So in my judgment three stars. Maybe send your kids to trade school not Yale.

Don't use them. Their techs do not know what they are doing. They won't fix it correctly the…read morefirst time, then have to come back and fix it again, then you get charged twice. They had a good tech years ago, but he passed away and now they have kids employed acting like they know what they are doing. Before Rod passed away, I had used them for years and years, and now I have had this happen at a couple different locations where it wasn't fixed the first time. I had to file a bbb complaint against them after I left four or five messages as the service manager and owner would not return my call to at least talk to me about adjusting my bill. They told me to never contact them again, and that is no problem. I'd freeze to death before I called them. The office clerk who answers the phone is rude as well.
