The guacamole and other ingredients were fresh though. My fiancé ordered the fish and chips. It was amazingly good!!!! You get a huge piece of fish and the batter is so tasty! And crunchy! Mmm it was so good that I grabbed an order of fish and chips to go! And while going through airport security, they asked me what smelt so good in the box lol I told them fish and chips from Nick's!

I happened to see a few restaurants out of the corner of my eye just before security and glad we walked into Giraffe. It's hard to miss. Very colorful and bright. We were so hungry that they could have served stale bread and old pot roast and we would have probably chosen the restaurant. Fortunately, the menu was fairly expansive and included my fave breakfast food: pancakes. We were served our tea pretty quickly which we needed as we probably looked like a couple of zombies. I ordered the Strawberry pancakes. The wife took the recommendation of the server for the hash. Apparently not spicy according to the server. Apparently spicy according to the wife. I always have the cod as my fish of choice and that is always well prepared. The battered sausage/frankfurters are highly recommended too. I also personally enjoy the milk shakes, the machine has 9 different flavours. The shop is kept in a clear presentable manner, and the customer service is excellent. It is run by a husband and wife team who are exceptionally friendly and always greet me with a friendly smile. It is the gathering place for some reason for the local hoodies, who aren't really threatening, but you wonder why they are gathered there in the first place. However this is not enough to put one off the excellent service provided by this traditional fish and chip shop.

I ate the veggie meal with eggs, toast, hash browns, backed beans, veggie sausage, and avocado. It was so good! I loved the hash browns and baked beans. Baked beans sound so weird to me to have for breakfast! But it was delightful. Very berry smoothie to go (had to catch our flight, so I took this to go!) My smoothie was delicious! Since it was made with raspberries, it has little seeds in it. Which I didn't care for, but it's unavoidable with the raspberries.
