We agreed to a certain amount of days and paid a generous hourly rate hoping we could depend on her to get our son caught up over the summer. Unfortunately that was not the case. She changed the schedule multiple times, dropped us all together until summer started, and then once summer did start she canceled multiple times 30 min before our session started. It was becoming difficult because we scheduled our entire day around the session (picking up my son from camp early, ending my work day early for her arrival, etc). When I politely asked for a 2 hour notice before cancelling (which should be the standard) she dropped us all together. No explantation. Just said she is letting us go. Really disappointed.

I had always struggled with math. Numbers, equations, and formulas seemed like an insurmountable…read morewall that I could never climb over. That is, until I met stephen. This is a heartfelt testament to the extraordinary impact he had on my life and academic journey. They had a way of making me feel at ease, which was essential for someone like me who had built up a significant amount of anxiety around math. Their enthusiasm for the subject was infectious, and I began to feel a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, I could conquer this subject with their help. What sets Stephen apart from other tutors is their unique and effective teaching style. They have a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into understandable chunks. Instead of just memorizing formulas, stephen emphasized understanding the underlying principlea such as the Pythagorean theorem and the correlation to the unit circle and distance formula and even the quadratic formula. 10/10!!!!

Very grateful for Ace Tutoring. We came for SAT help. I really didn't know what to expect because…read moremy son already had a score in the high 1300s. With Ace's help, he improved into the 1500s - top 1%. I appreciated Steve's honesty in offering no guarantees regarding score improvement (which are worthless guarantees anyways). His program isn't about tricks to "beat the system" or "crack the code". It's straight-on work on the academic skills that the SAT tests for. If your child gives honest effort, I can't think of why Ace wouldn't be able to help. And my review wouldn't be complete without mentioning that the teachers are awesome. To top it off, Steve's prices are very reasonable. For the in-person help you get, I'm not sure anyone beats his prices.
