My father in law was in Florida dying of Cancer. I called explaining I needed to cancel an upcoming appointment as I needed to fly to Florida immediately to make arrangements to bring him home to PA. When I returned home I brought back with me Covid and once more called to reschedule. A week later I received in the mail a letter telling me they no longer wanted me as a patient. During my initial appt a Dentist at Aspen told me to reach out if it ever started to hurt. 4 days ago woke up with pain from the tooth that Ive been treating with saltwater, icepacks and ibuprofen finally my face has swollen, I cant swallow or open my mouth. I call to request some pain medication and to be seen, I tell them my symptoms and what Im taking. without seeing me, the dentist prescribed amoxicillin and ibuprofen and refused to prescribe anything else despite having no history of drug use, and asked to be seen again, the dentist denied and essentially told me Im on my own and they wouldnt help my pain while I wait for my extraction appointment. So unprofessional, and risking my health by prescription antibiotics before even confirming if the issue was bacterial.

The dentist was so rough with the needle that my mouth was swollen for 3 days. He then let an obviously inexperienced assistant create my temporary crown. She did such a horrible job, it looks and feels like sharp, jagged concrete slabbed on my gum. When I told the receptionist that I cannot talk, drink, eat or sleep without it cutting my tongue she said there is nothing wrong with it and it's a temporary!!!! Suggesting it supposed to be that way! I explained to her that it's preventing me from getting much-needed injections from pain management because they won't do it with an open sore (Had to cancel) in my mouth and asked her if she can have the permanent crown rushed, she replied, if it's rushed they're going to do a bad a job and I won't be happy with it. SERIOUSLY???? She also explained to me that just asking to have it rushed is putting me in front of everyone else and I explained that if they didn't make the temporary the way they did, I wouldn't need it to be rushed! I also explained that I'm sure the percentage of patients are not going in for injections, and hopefully they have a smooth temporary in their mouth the way they're supposed to. (But maybe not.)
