I suppose I was born into this; my family has been going to Back Mountain Dental through a few name changes and the tenure of the previous dentist, so I've been lucky to have excellent dental care with a neighborhood-oriented staff. For instance, on my last visit alone, they saved me time, money and the frustration of anesthesia by salvaging part of a previous filling and not applying a product once we discussed more of my symptoms. No upselling, easy-to-understand and work with billing procedures, and the superpower to figure out any changes in your insurance with minimal effort (even though you put your new card in a 'safe' place). They treat you like family, but not the ones who are always running late; these guys stick to their schedule. And one added note, as one of my friends mentioned dreading their upcoming trip to their dentist: I think 'chairside' manner might be thrown to the wolves when considering dentistry, it seems optional.
