The owners Millie and Ash are very present at the events hanging out with the kids you can feel the love and commitment they have for the school and the kiddos. From the moment you walk through the front doors each morning, you're greeted with smiling faces and a warm "good morning." They know every child by name and make each family feel welcome. It's such a wonderful way to start the day and immediately gives you peace of mind. The teachers are truly incredible. They are patient, loving, attentive, and take the time to get to know each child as an individual. I've never felt like my son is just another student in a classroom. They celebrate his personality, encourage his growth, and genuinely care about his happiness and development. I also really appreciate their student to teacher ratio. There are more teachers in the classrooms than I've seen at many other childcare centers, which means the children receive so much individual attention and gives me peace of mind. My son started in the First Steps classroom and has now moved into the Young Toddlers classroom, so we've had the opportunity to experience three different classrooms and many different teachers. One thing that has remained consistent throughout every transition is the genuine love and care the staff has for the children. Even teachers he no longer has still stop to say hello, give him high fives, and ask how he's doing. Seeing that they continue to care about him long after he's left their classroom speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. It never feels like they're simply doing a job, they truly build relationships with the children and their families. One of my favorite things about the school is how much they do to keep learning fun and engaging. As a STEM school, they incorporate hands on learning while also offering so many exciting activities throughout the year. My son looks forward to Music Mondays with Matt, art days, water play days, pizza Fridays, and the creative themes they change throughout the week. Over the summer they had a train come to the school and the kids got to ride on it, my son loved that! They even had an outdoor Robo Dance Party that came to the school. They are always thinking of the next fun thing they can bring to the school and it's truly amazing! They even have Soccer Shots as an added option for kiddos. They also host so many family events and holiday celebrations, including Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents Day, Aunt & Uncle Day, and more. They truly make families feel like they're part of the school community. Safety has always been a top priority for me, and this school takes it seriously. The secure entry with double doors and coded access, along with locked and alarmed outdoor gates, gives me confidence every day that my son is in a safe environment. The playground is always clean, well-maintained, and a place where the kids can play safely. The communication is another huge reason we love this school. Through their app, I receive updates throughout the day with photos, what my son has eaten, diaper changes, water refills, nap times, and more. It makes such a difference knowing exactly how his day is going while I'm at work. I am so grateful that my son gets to grow up surrounded by teachers and staff who love him so well. If you're looking for a school where your child will have lots of fun, learn new curriculum each day, be safe, encouraged, celebrated, and genuinely loved, I cannot recommend this school enough. We are new to this school this year and it has been a great transition for both my first grader and…read morefourth. The principal Mr. Arcuri is great and the kids really like him. My children's two teachers are great and they love going to school. The campus is also nice with a great big blacktop for the kids to play on, a field for soccer and a small playground. The school has a pretty seamless drop off pick up system considering the tons of kids that have to get picked up. I like the curbside drop off especially when the weather is bad. They have had some fun extra curricular activities like the Father Daughter dance, fall harvest festival, winter pancake breakfast and numerous field trips for the kids. We are having a great experience at this school.

We never had any problems at Woodcreek and find that it was a good school. It's better than the High Schools in the surrounding cities because of less violence, better group of kids, and bigger budget. We recently attended the graduation ceremony at the school this last week for the Senior Class of 2014 and had a good time. It doesn't really matter if you are sitting up front on the field, or behind in the bleachers, you will have a good view either way. Fortunately they had the ceremony positioned so that we were protected from the sun most of the time. Whew! Compared to other high schools, Woodcreek isn't very diverse; mostly Caucasian but it's in Roseville so it's not too surprising. It's a good crowd of kids though. +1 Star for the administrators letting my Stepdaughter stay at Woodcreek even after we moved out of Roseville.

The biggest concern is the lack of stable leadership. The school can't seem to retain principals, and the constant turnover creates inconsistency for students, teachers, and families. It's difficult to build a strong school culture when leadership is always changing. I believe the school is on their 9th principal in 6yrs. This is a major red flag and a huge concern about what the board is doing behind the closed doors For the tuition families pay, the quality of education simply doesn't meet expectations. Many of the school's strongest educators have already left/retired or are nearing retirement, and it raises concerns about the future of the academic program. Another major concern is the Board of Directors' involvement in day-to-day school operations. I've never heard of board members walking around campus writing up students for behavior--that responsibility belongs to school administrators, not the governing board. It blurs the lines between governance and management and creates confusion about who is actually leading the school. It's also concerning that board members appear to be making significant educational decisions despite having little or no professional background in education or business. Families entrust the school with their children's education and expect those decisions to be guided by experienced educational leadership. My son made great memories with his teachers and teammates, and I'm grateful for those experiences. Unfortunately, the school's leadership, governance, and overall educational value make it difficult for me to recommend it to other families. The school is located in a beautiful area and has great potential to thrive and be amazing. But it needs a new leadership and new board and for Lori Kirk to fully step away from this school. I would seriously speak to other families who have left the school prior to investing thousands of dollars into your child's education I've had 2 children attend this school. One left to Del Oro for stronger academics and AP classes and the other one graduated FLC in 2026

We had 6 years experience with another elementary school and just didn't have that satisfied feeling. Not the case with Creekside Oaks Elementary School aka COES. 1st grade with Mrs. Herrera was great. She really seems to care about the students. My son was very happy going to school everyday. 2nd grade with Mrs. McCracken has been incident free and she even takes the time to address each of my sometimes (admittedly) asinine questions and concerns with a sincerity that can not be faked. This school has a huge bullying problem perpetuated by second grade tracher Marianne Wilson. If…read moreyou're child is entering 2nd grade and is a boy in her class, you've scored. If you have a girl you are absolutely screwed. A first grade girl was kicked then poked with straws and utensils. She was so tiny they tossed her around like a rag doll. You'd think those boys would get detention or suspended...nope. Another parent had to file a Williams Rights Act complaint woth the District against the school and Marianne Wilson because they failed to let a student take home and bring back their school books daily. Aren't school books a basic necessity for school?!? A second grade girl was sexually assaulted on campus by a boy. However because the boy was under 4th grade in the eyes of the law it's only considered bullying. Another kid was bullied so bad that they had to switch classrooms and the boys that bullied that child would loiter outside the classroom. It got so bad that this child was no longer allowed to go out on recess because the school could not guarantee the kids safety while on campus. The child had to be escorted by staff. Are you kidding me?!?! Another girl was physically assaulted by a boy and after the investigation it was determined it was an accident. Uhm how many times do you accidently punch another kid...wtf. The mother of the boy that was the offender that did the physical assault was the room mom so nothing happened to the golden child. The principal Greg O'Meara was absolutely the worst. That kid that was sexually assaulted the childs parents went to O'Meara and asked him what his remedy was and he stated to them, 'what do you want me to do there's only six weeks left in school'. The principal had already asked for a transfer so he did not care one lick about those kids. The lunch lady would admonish the kids that had an under $5 balance on their meal accounts. She even told the kids that she would turn them away if they tried to get a hot meal even if they had a positive balance but the balance was low. Not low enough to where they could not purchase a hot meal. Just having a low balance even if they had enough to purchase a hot meal. Turn a kid away even if they had enough to cover their meal. That's insane! One parent had to complain to the Board of Trustees to get the lunch lady to stop. The yard duty are horrible at their job and kids get hurt real bad. To the point where kids were missing school to avoid the bullies because they would get hurt at recess. Then when the yard duty found out they never told anyone so that bad kids kept doing horrible things because nothing was ever reported. Another kids parents was threatened with having their kid kicked out of school (notified by mail only 1 day prior to being kicked out) because the school didn't mark on the outside of the school record folder that they had received the shot records. How completely idiotic of them. A simple mistake, ok. But not checking a folder then trying to kick a kid out because of their mistake and only notifying the parent 1 day but they knew about this for two weeks. Unacceptable. There are a few good people here. I'd say the male nurse is pretty great and I've heard the tutoring center teacher is pretty awesome. But I have not heard of or experienced a great teacher at this school that nourishes the child's mind in a positive manner. If you want your kid to either become the bully or get bullied verbally and physically go ahead and send them to Quail Glen. Your kid will come out nice and f'd up all on your taxpayer dime. If you can I'd highly recommend moving out of the district or requesting a transfer. We are leaving this hell hole. Worse school ever. Bullies are rampant. Staff is either incompetent or disinterested. Kids are being physically and sexually assaulted by other students. Multiple complaints have been filed against the school. The former principal ended up leaving to a place in Santa Cruz to become head of student services. The district promised this year 18/19 would be different. There is no way we are coming back. Ever!
