Such a great activity to do with out of town friends b/c It feels like a local secret, you learn a lot about the history of beer in NYC, and you drink a lot of tasty beer. The bus itself is clean, comfortable, and has both a tv and dock for playing your Ipod's. It's a great way to get around and taste a lot of beer without having to worry about getting a DWI ! Kevin knows all the routes to some of the best local breweries, and is a big craft beer guy himself. They do many beer tasting events on LI and around the local NY area and have packages available for group trips, or shorter shuttles to the local brew tastings. We hit up Great South Bay, Long Ireland, and Port Jeff Brewing Company. I have had a few opportunities to join a Beerspoke Travel itinerary, and every trip was filled with memorable (even after the many beer samples), distinctive (since the experiences were tailored to the local beer scene), and varied experiences (with walking brewery crawls, festivals, and behind-the-scenes tours). I made new friends, I drank fantastic beers, I learned so much more about the brewing industry, I threw some axes, and I got the chance to explore a few great cities. Experience is as excellent as last time with beverages and snacks for purchase. If you enjoy fall colors, great scenery and boats then you have to do this at least once.
