We recently rented a duffy boat and had a great experience with Hopper Boat rental. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the price was most reasonable. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, and the route we were given to tour the channel took us right in front of our hotel which was fun to see from the water. Call ahead for reservations, and ask for directions to get there and park as there is construction going on nearby. read more

What a fun experience my husband and I had on a Saturday afternoon celebrating a weekend get away. The two guys that helped us were top notch. They explained everything in detail to us. We were allowed to bring food and champagne on board. We rented and paid for two hours to drive around the canals enjoying the homes and boats/yachts. We went over the time limit a little but they did not charge us for being 10 minutes late. Thank you. I highly recommend Hopper Boat Rentals for a very fun time. read more

Great experience, nice staff, awesome selection of boats. Would highly recommend, especially for how reasonable the prices were.

Hopper Boat Rentals is a great place to rent in the Channel Island Harbor. They have a variety of water activities at a very reasonable price. I called about a week in advance to make a reservation for an electric boat. Upon arriving, the check in process was smooth and the staff was friendly. We were on the boat in no time. Riding around the marina in the boat was fantastic and overall it was a great time. If you're in the area and need water rentals definitely check them out. read more

I have rented electric boats with hopper rentals six or seven times in the last three years. The boats are always very clean ,and more importantly always hold a charge. I have gone out with friends and family for the whole day and have never needed to be rescued. Reasonable rates compared to other rental operations in the area. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, always looking to make your experience better. The last few times that we have gone out, they have put us in their larger boat and allow us to take our dogs at no extra charge. I would recommend Hopper Boat Rentals to anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful channel Islands Harbour in a completely stress-free environment. read more

What a great way to get out and see the Harbor! We made reservations for a Sunday afternoon and upon arrival, we were instantly taken care of. Life jackets for the littles, and a quick tutorial for driving the boat and we were off! We cruised the Oxnard Harbor for an hour. The cost was $75 (up to 8) per hour. An hour went quick and next time we would go for 2 hours. Lots to see while cruising along. Our kids loved seeing the seals and waving to boats. Nothing like a nice day on the water. Hopper's staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back to explore more of the harbor. read more

3 months of non stop work; " Will I have a career after this"? I have been working non stop and the only happiness outside of my apt and gallery is officially Hopper. Today was the first time in 3 months I left to have a 'good time'. Thank you to ARBI on yelp to give me heads up Ventura county opened up. This place has always (for 13 years) been a home away from home for me. Everyone was so nice upon our arrival; they always are. They didn't skip a beat with their hospitality. Boats are sterilized and super clean. I loved just boating around the marina and checking out the beautiful water and stunning homes. I didn't want to dock.....I just wanted to float around. All my stress for a few moments just went away....... read more

A friend of ours rented one of the electric boats here at Hopper Boat Rentals for his dogs 7th birthday party. Four adults and 5 canines boarded the boat with snacks and drinks hoping for a good time and boy did we have a blast! The boat was quiet and smooth running and the dogs adjusted quickly to being out on the water and settled right in as if they'd been boat dogs all of their lives. If you are looking for something fun and relaxing to do on the harbor with friends or furry friends I highly recommend! My dogs gave it two paws up!
