She didnt need one in the past. MONEY GRAB ALERT! Totally bogus information. Google it. Dogs dont require a blood test for a Trazodone prescription. Any time the visit was with Guzman, there was always "something we should consider". Take a sample of a bump and send to a lab. Do a full panel of blood test after she already had a clean bill of health (Oh but if you act now, we can get it for a cheaper price). Blood test to refill a prescription. Im sure he has an exclusive contract with the lab and is committed to filling quotas. That's how they work. Additionally, my neighbors had a sick cat last year. They asked me if I knew of a vet. I sent them to Assissi. Neighbors were told the cat needed to stay the night. Next morning, neighbors called to setup picking up the cat. Cat died. Initially was told the cat choked on his own vomit. Neighbors asked why didnt anyone help? They were told that no one stays there overnight. What? Then why did the cat need to stay the night? To make matters worse, they were handed a massive bill...all to have them kill my neighbors cat...from their first visit to Assissi through my recommendation. I was turned off from that story and was thinking of leaving then. Well after this Trazodone BS, we're confirmed to part. I can toss a stone in any direction and hit a vet, there are so many. I was told that because my dog had not been seen there recently, he would need an examination, which would cost $85. I also asked about grooming because I wanted my dog cleaned and groomed before our trip. I was told grooming starts at $75, so I asked what services were included in that starting price. Instead of answering the question, directing me to someone who could help, or referring me to a website, the employee hung up the phone on me. That was extremely rude and unprofessional. Pet care can become expensive, and customers should be able to ask basic pricing questions so they can plan accordingly. I was not demanding an exact final price--I simply wanted to know what the advertised starting price included. At other businesses, grooming services and prices are clearly explained online, including what is included and what costs extra. Even a simple response such as, "Let me find out," or "Please check this page on our website," would have been sufficient. Hanging up on a prospective customer for asking a reasonable question reflects very poorly on the office and reinforced the unprofessional impression I have experienced there previously.
