When I arrived, I waited about five minutes before being greeted and asked to complete the electronic consent forms on an iPad. However, I felt rushed through the process and wasn't given the opportunity to read everything thoroughly. I booked a HydraFacial and lip filler. This was my third or fourth visit to this location, but I noticed the staff had completely changed since my last appointment. The esthetician who performed the HydraFacial was friendly and explained the process well. That said, after paying $200, I was disappointed with the results, my skin didn't feel deeply cleansed, and I could still see clogged pores. I understand multiple treatments may be needed, but for that price, I expected better immediate results. Honestly, I might consider doing it at home next time if the effect is minimal. Next, I had the lip filler procedure. The experience felt rushed and impersonal. When I asked the practitioner which product she was using, she hesitated and didn't want to specify the brand, which made me uneasy. If this clinic wants to maintain loyal clients, the team really needs to regroup and improve both their communication and customer experience.

I realized, if I take care of my face, I have to take control of my "entire self"! As an absolute phenom in her own right, I learned Dr. Allenby founded Body Squad with Bridgette, who is part of the founding team. After doing research, I found out Bridgette, who heads up Body Squad is certified by Allergan in Cool Sculpting, which is a plus, aside from being the Operations Director, expert in laser, facials, and medical assistant, who's team is very friendly & knowledgeable. With this in mind, i tried their cool sculpting. Being very private, gyms are not my thing. I just want to relax & nap while enjoying this service. By the way, as part of their SOP, measurements were taken and documented. After a couple of sessions, I noticed a tightening on my tummy and my clothes fit right. This is amazing! The mood in the room was very relaxing. The machines, are very clean, floor and everything. Im so hooked at cool sculpting for the first time, & will be back for other procedures. They gave me a "white glove" experience as if I was Royalty. Not only that, im now inspired to take care of myself so I can take care of my loved ones. This business has been around for 40+ years. And that's amazing. Real amazing. They sell all sorts…read more aromatherapy items and on their website state "Natures Symphony has been an Aromatherapy pioneer in the US for more than 38 years." It's a small shop, packed with items, on a small street, about a block away from Mizner Park. They have a substantial mail-order business according to its owner, close to 40%, shipping items around the world. Frankly, I have purchased only one item in this shop for the 18 years I have lived in the area, and that is SAGE. (The owner won't be laying his rent off of my business), I practice (in some manner of speaking) smudging. I wave the sage in the air, walking around the house, not missing a spot. And while doing this, I say something like "God, I ask for your help to cleanse this house of any negative energy, making space for good, positive energy to occupy our home." My husband thinks I'm crazy, and he humors me, as he has done for 50 years, while I'm engaging in this ritual. I don't do this regularly, usually when I feel there's some negative energy around. Having recently turned the corner from being in a dark place for too long a time, I thought the time was right. And it was a few days before Yom Kippur, and I figured it could not hurt! His biggest objection is 1) "the stuff stinks", and 2) as the sage burns, some ashes fall off of it, and those ashes are like black soot (I guess it is soot), and no dirt is allowed in our home. And BORI, our pure bred adopted sato from Puerto Rico, also thinks it stinks (he sneezes a lot), and when I try to wave the sage near him, he runs away. My husband saw this and said "see, you always said he was smart!" I explain that the odor will dissipate (it always does) after it works its "magic", and promise to collect all the soot, which honestly, I never do. As an aside, I find that all the items are VERY expensive, but I have nothing to compare the pricing to. I'm just happy to be able to buy my sage, in a delightful little shop of wonders about 5 minutes from my home. The owners are wonderful, explaining every item in the shop. They also offer educational classes, which appear to be well attended. Check them out. I'm sure you'll be amazed and not leave without buying something. And don't forget to check it on Yelp to get your discount. Street parking is a challenge, but available.

Most of them have faded over the years, but two small ones remain, so we wanted to see if laser treatment would be an option. The doctor took the time to carefully examine her and gave us an honest recommendation. He explained that she's still too young for the procedure because she would likely need anesthesia for laser treatment. Instead of rushing into it, he advised us to wait until she's around 10 years old, when the birthmarks may become less noticeable on their own and laser treatment would be easier and safer. We truly appreciated his professionalism and honesty. It's refreshing to meet a doctor who puts the patient's best interests first instead of recommending an unnecessary procedure. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff was kind, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Spoiler Alert: Dr. Hancock is a rockstar! I don't write many reviews. Why? Because unless I'm…read moreeither "blown away", or "hugely disappointed", what's the point? I also tend to see how things play out over time before sharing my thoughts. Especially when it comes to a cosmetic procedure. In this case, Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) for two of my three daughters. It all started two years ago with my eldest daughter. Like the rest of Boca, we visited two very popular (with the Boca crowd at least) Rhinoplasty doctors for an evaluation. As usual, they conducted an evaluation of my daughter while listening to her "wants" and of course, providing pictures of what her nose would look like post-procedure. As a courtesy, i don't want to provide names of who she saw, but in both instances, it felt rushed and almost "factory" like. Just one of those situations where my daughter felt like a number. So, we continued our search. A few weeks later, we saw an ad for Dr. Hancock and decided to schedule a visit to see what she had to say. OMG, what a difference. First of all, the experience of just the first visit was night and day compared to the first two. Dr. Hancock is a rare breed when it comes to visiting a Doctor in FL. Unlike so many of the rest, she actually cares about her patients. She actually took as much time as needed to truly understand what my daughter was looking for. And after fully hearing my daughter's thoughts, provided insight and advice that made the experience that much more authentic. We were blown away with her professionalism, kindness and warmth! Admittedly, at that point, we didn't know anybody that had a nose job performed by Dr. Hancock. That said, we truly felt that it was the best decision for our daughter, and decided to move forward with the procedure. Then came procedure day. I can't believe the effort that Dr. Hancock put forth in making my daughter comfortable. Her team (including Anesthesiologist) were extremely caring and personable. What was even more satisfying, was the followup after the procedure. Dr. Hancock's staff is as caring as you would expect. They bent over backwards to make sure my daughter was satisfied. Now, let me tell you about the results. OMG!!! For the year prior to the procedure, my daughter would show me pictures of her friend's nose jobs done by other Doctors. It looked like each and every one of them were in a boxing match after surgery. I have never seen swelled faces like i did with practically all the pictures i was shown. It made me really nervous that my daughter would have to go through the amount of pain and swelling that many of her friends had experienced. Guess what? Very little bruising or swelling. Practically no pain after the procedure! I couldn't believe it. But of course, the proof is in the final result, which takes a handful of months+ to fully heal. Allow me to be perfectly frank. The final result was absolutely amazing! Exactly what both my daughter and Dr. Hancock envisioned. Here we are, two years later and my "middle" daughter just had her rhinoplasty completed last week. Amazingly, she had basically zero pain and bruising and swelling was as minimum as it gets. I can't get over the fact of how lucky my family was to meet Dr. Hancock. We have one more to go in the next few years and you better believe the decision has already been made! If you are like us and have daughters in need of Rhinoplasty, you absolutely must visit with Dr. Hancock before deciding who to go with. You will be beyond thankful that you did. She's that good!
