My wheelchair bound elderly father was stranded at the hospital for additional 3 hours, post medical procedure, as Hopelink failed to secure a return ride for him. Spoke with customer service several times, one agent extremely rude. Agent also said return ride fell through early am, however we were NOT notified. We would have never willingly accepted a ONE WAY trip with possibility of being stranded after painful medical procedure. RIDICULOUS! read more

To be honest they're a call center, I'm sure they get their fair share of shitty clientele, but they shouldn't be leaving that out on the rest of us! I'm getting sick and tired of sitting on hold for 15+ minutes, listening to them pressing buttons in the background of the horrible hold music, and then the only thing they say when they come on the line is "client number!" No "Hello, can I get your client number please?" Nothing, so I feel like I missed the beginning of the conversation, which gets them even more rude because I'm like, "I'm sorry I didn't get that," and they're like, "you're supposed to have your client number ready, call back when you have it ready!" Like woah, I had it ready, you didn't start the call with a greeting, you just blurted out a demand for my number when I've been dissociated for 15 min because of the terrible hold music! Then if I make a request for a ride and it's 1 fucking hour from being 48 hours in advanced, they're like, "nope can't do it, it's not within 48 hours, you'll have to cancel that appointment, what's the next ride you need to request?" or like some of the employees say I can request 3 rides and some say I'm only allowed 2, I never know how many I'm allowed to request, if I ask for more than 2 some are like" oh yeah sure, we do 3," and some are like, "we never allow more than 2" and get pissy about it, so I feel horrible needing help even though I have sometimes up to 5 appointments a week (I'm broken, ok) they need to they need to retrain their staff in empathy and politeness. I won't leave reviews on the drivers part because that's not hopelinks fault that's the fault of the company they enlist to drive for them. read more

Hopelink is AWEFUL!!! I have had the unfortunate experience of needing their services twice and each time was the most frustrating and stressful time of my life. They are unprofessional, rude, and inefficient businesses. The first time one of their drivers drove off and left me in front of the hotel and I was late for my neurology appointment (my first time in Seattle) and I was mortified. When I called the "customer service" number, they hung up on me after giving me the run-around. I called my doctor's office in tears and they sent a cab to come get me thankfully. The second time (against my better judgment) I went through them again and they despite repeating the CORRECT hotel address back to me and my caregiver multiple times (and picking us up and dropping us off there multiple times over three days) we were left standing in front of the hotel the day we were to head back home because the driver went to the WRONG motel and then put me in the system as a no show. When I called to see what the problem was I was told that's the address they had and it was "out of their hands". When I asked to speak to a supervisor, in true hopelink fashion they hung up on me. Needless to say I missed my train and a doctor appointment I had when I returned home. If you can AVOID using their services DO IT! I'd give them 0 stars if I could read more

The absolute worst customer service attempts I continue to experience with ignorant, disrespectful, unprofessional representatives! If you call in to request transportation BEFORE 5pm you're supposed to be able to submit your request. I called in with a few minutes to spare and a very rude, immature girl took my membership identification and asked what request I was making. Apparently her lazy ass didn't wanna do her job because after I told her she said she couldn't help me and I needed to call back tomorrow. When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me...pathetic display of customer service simply because she didn't want to do her job or because she was off in 4 minutes and didn't wanna follow SOP. Look kid, if you don't like your job, find a new one! I have no problem calling back tomorrow, I look forward to it! The sad ass fact of the matter is even submitting a grievance won't mean anything; they're just like the judicial review board: weeks later they'll send out a letter saying the issue has been addressed and resolved but in reality it's swept under the perverbial rug and forgotten. Fill a desperate need and replace hopelink or retrain your reps or hire better ones! I've worked in customer service in the call center environment a few times and I had better etiquette fast asleep than these yahoos do while wide awake! Do Better People! My experience with them is from a few years ago. They were contacted for transportation a day before I needed it. They said they'd be here at a particular time period. I waited an hour for them. I'm in a wheelchair. Eventually, I called a wheelchair cab instead; THEY showed up. Hopelink has gotten better since, but it's by means of another company ("Urgent Transportation" is the label on the vans). I had to reschedule my appointments MANY times until I realized that Yellow Cab is much more reliable. read more

The Last time I got help they held back Money to pay to get my car fix....So a Year Later They Give Me The Same Money I Had For Car Repairs PREVIOUSLY...A Month Later, No Repairs, No Rent Help! We came here to donate 4 bags of food and a woman came to the door to tell me they are shorthanded and cannot accept food donations right now and we were disappointed. However a woman drove up and was going to pick up some food and we asked her if she needed any of these items and she jumped at the chance so our trip wasn't wasted and we got to help someone read more

Regarding Hopelink Transportation: Last summer wasn't even the beginning of the issues with this service. But, in only 1 week I missed 4 appts due to Hopelink Transportation. I have since not bothered with trying to use them, even though I qualify. I now simply don't go to all my appts I should be attending. Wondering if anything has improved yet? I understand times are tough for alot of companies and getting quality employees can be difficult. But maybe the ride appts shouldn't be made at all if ya know you're short of drivers AND they don't even call you to let you know no one is coming for you. I stopped in here on May 29, 2019 to donate some cans of food. On that day, their food bank was closed. But their very friendly lady at the front desk,Kimberly, nevertheless accepted my bag of non-perishable food, and wrote me a receipt for it. And this, shortly before closing time at that! Whereas many employees might have said "Sorry, but the food bank is closed today. You will have to come back another day." Kimberly still nevertheless acted as if it were not closed. Being this gracious shortly before closing time, after working all day long, causes me to believe that she deserves a raise! read more

Hopelink (transportation) has some of the absolute WORST hold music in the world! It's literally painful to listen to and their hold times are incredibly long! I had to call back after getting cut off while the guy (Roman) was booking my ride & we got cut off. He'd just told me the ride time but I went to myrideonline.org and it wasn't there, so apparently he hadn't completed booking it. He should've called me back. Now I have a headache. And I'm still on hold more than 45 minutes later! Why can't we just book rides online if there aren't enough call takers? Yeah, you can fax a request but who faxes anymore!? read more

Used this ride service several times before to get to medical appointments with few issues. Last time (today) used them for a ride to and from a doctor's appointment. They showed up 20 minutes late for pickup...ok annoying but not the end of the world. Pickup for ride home was another issue entirely however. I told them my appointment would likely be done at 1:15 AND THAT IT MIGHT RUN LATER THAN THAT. So what does the driver do? Shows up at EXACTLY 1:15 on the dot, calls without leaving a message or attempting a second call, and splits the scene, reporting that I was a no-show (by the way, if you get two no-shows you can't use the service anymore). What a poor showing of crappy customer service. I'm disabled and had no cab fare or alternate transportation. This outfit is sketchy and I will be looking for a different ride service from now on. I'd suggest you do the same and avoid using Hopelink. read more
