I looked up their non-profit public tax (form 990) returns: they are the real thing. When I buy something I give a little more than the asking price, and let them keep any change. This is a Christian outreach. It's a bit run down, and stuff can be disorganized and awkward to sort through. See past that and enjoy your visit.

It is a smaller thrift store, but the items and customer service were amazing finds! Everyone we interacted with were so kind and helpful! They had a variety of clothes, home goods, cards, crafts and more! The pricing was very fair too! I am excited to come back to see what other treasures we might be able to find! Something that I really liked about this thrift store was their ability to give back to the community. It seemed as though there were other services that Second Chance Thrift Store might be affiliated with, such as food donations. They also had an area where if you had items to drop off to donate, you could do so. I love knowing that my donations are going into a more community based organization rather than a large corporation like goodwill. They have a lot of compassion for people. I am so glad I met them. It really was a life line for me.
