My story: I downsized....then I downsized....then I downsized... I met a woman at one of my yard sales who was buying for this thrift store. So we (me and my friends / family at yard sale) filled up her van! That was a few months ago. Then 3 weeks ago I called the store and asked if they could pick up some things. They did - they showed up yesterday with a box van and I did a very good job of almost filling it up! The pick up men were incredibly sweet, nice, respectful and profusely thanked me for the donation. I told my 82 year old mother about it and she was beaming! I could have had another yard sale and maybe got some $ - but I feel much better about donating to them. They are doing an awesome job of helping others! They will continue to receive my donations as long as I live in Lake Wales!

There is a random smattering of goods and for what it's worth the proprietor takes great care in making sure items are clean and presentable! He was in fact, cleaning items when I walked in. Additionally the prices are very reasonable. There was Christian music playing loudly and a lot of Christian items (knickknacks and bibles galore) for sale. Worth checking out if you're in the area but would not go out of my way.

The section near the front door has some interesting finds, though pricing can be a bit high relative to condition. Even so, I did manage to pick up a few items I had been looking for at reasonable prices. The deeper section inside the store is where I had the best luck, with a much better mix of selection and value. There is a lot to go through, and I ended up making a second trip back just to finish digging through everything I wanted to explore. I came away with several great vinyl finds on both visits. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very personable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Free parking right by the front entrance is another added benefit, especially since street parking in the area is metered during weekday business hours. I also noticed they have a large selection of comic books, which may be of interest if you enjoy collecting those as well. If you enjoy digging for records and don't mind spending time searching, Lloyds of Lakeland is definitely worth a stop.

There are two owners (husband & wife), & a total of 25 dealers represented here. The owners were away today (7/21/19); the older gentleman (dealer) who replaced them was a sweetheart-- friendly & helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. (Truly a great guy:) There was vintage furniture here, including antique furniture (100 years or older). There were even some really nice primitive pieces, such as a butler's sideboard (see pic). The glass items sold here are beyond reproach-- so many quality glass pieces (such as Fenton) in mint condition. Lots of Roseville & Hull pottery as well. Impressive collection of glassware & pottery at fair prices! Lots of vintage silver jewelry here, along with some 10k, 12k, & 14k pieces. I saw an extensive coin collection, & many vintage dolls & toys, Disney collectibles, as well as camping cookware, vintage tools, vinyl & CD's, mid century glassware, clocks, & lighting. (I could go on & on:) As someone who has spent considerable time antiquing over the years, this is a shoppe I would visit quite often if I lived closer. Definitely the best vintage glass collection (& prices) I've come across anywhere. Gorgeous vases! (What's odd is that I realize now that I took NO pics of all the gorgeous pieces. Lol.) As soon as I walked in I was met by the greeter, security, manager, and all around good boy Nash. Nash accompanied me around the store a bit before he got bored and went to take a nap. Good help is hard to find. G's is an antique mall made up of booths with individual vendors. If you find something you like you can just bring it up front and pay. They had a wide variety of inventory including furniture, home goods, clothing, books, and holiday decorations. There was even a saddle which is how you know you are in farm country. My favorite booth was the vintage kitchen with the vintage Pyrex I love. I found the prices on the Pyrex to be comparable to other stores I have shopped in Central Florida. G's does a great job decorating their windows for the holidays and right now it is Christmas themed. Follow them on Facebook for their latest and greatest inventory as well as updates to Lake Wales Main Street. Kisses for you Nash!

This flea market is also across from home depot. Next door to racetrack gas station. The surroundings is outdoor and sand / dirt when you walk around. It can get really hot and warm at times so prepare to wear sunscreen sunglasses and a hat and cool clothing. They have a few mexican trucks here serving tacos etc. I have also seen kettle corn as well. So this flea market also has indoor booths. I have seen fresh produce being sold here , vintage used items, incense sticks booth, Asian booth selling misc items from kids toys to garden gadgets etc. I have scored a precious moments figurine (used) for $1. I mostly tackle used items because they are cheap when you negotiate. I cannot say much on the food being sold here but they get busy.

Honestly, if you're looking for something that you don't even know you're looking for, you might find it here. You know what they say, "one man's junk is another man's treaure". Sellers seem nice, they greet you as you walk by. If you get hungry, there's a sitting area with a few food trucks. I went at the end of the day so it wasn't filled with a lot of shoppers and some stands were even closed but it was a nice little walk around. Lots of parking available but the walk path for the outside stands is sandy so wear closed toe shoes.
